선생님은 팔도강산을 많이 돌아다녔지요. 미국에도 가자마자, 앞으로 내가 10년 후에는 반드시 이 땅을 밟고…. 국경이 문제가 아니라구요. 그저 40일을 중심 삼아 가지고 48개 주를 '달려라. 달려라. 내 발길이 가야 되겠다.

산천초목아, 그리웠지? 나 여기 왔다.' 하고 전부 골짝골짝에 가서, 될 수 있으면 높은 데 가서 기도를 하고…. 그런 놀음을 해야 된다구요. 어디 척 문을 열고 나가게 되면, 뜰이 나를 반겨 주는 것을 느끼면서 '오냐! 내 한번 나가 보자. 나 갈께. 산에도 갈께' 그런 마음이 쑥 듭니다.

만물도 주인을 기다립니다. 그렇잖아요? 개가 있다면 그 개가 추운 겨울, 혹은 더운 여름에 지루한 밤을 지내면서 주인이 나오기를 얼마나 기다리겠느냐?

그렇게 자던 개도 주인이 쓱 문을 열고 나오면 어느새 와서 꼬리를 젓고 막 달려드는 것입니다. 아침에 보라구요. 그런가 안 그런가 보라구요. 얼마나 반가운 표정을 하는지…. 그런거 알지요? 

마찬가지라구요. 모든 산야를 거닐며 그런 마음을 가지고 '저 골짜기를 내가 한번 가 봐야 할 텐데. 연기 나는 저 골짜기에 동네가 있다면 저 동네에 한번 가 봐야 될 텐데. 언제 한번 가야 할 텐데!' 그렇게 생각하고 가게 되면, 벌써 영계의 선조들이 하늘의 귀빈이 온다고 그 집 청소를 시킵니다.

그런다는 거라구요. 무슨 말인지 알겠어요? 「예」 꿈 가운데 다 보고, 뭣인지 모르게 '아! 사람이 없나? 누가 오는 것 같다.' 하는 거예요.

先生は八道江山（注：韓国全土）をたくさん歩き回りました。アメリカにも行ってすぐ、これから私が十年後には必ずこの地を踏んで……。国境が問題ではないというのです。ただ四十日を中心にして四十八州を「走れ、走れ、私の足が行かなければならない。

山河草木よ、恋しかっただろう？　私がここに来たよ」と言ってすべての谷間、谷間に行き、できるだけ高い所に行って祈って……。そういう業をしなければならないのです。どこかサッと戸を開けて出るようになれば、庭が私を見てうれしがってくれるのを感じながら「来たのか！　私が一度出てみよう。私が行くよ、山にも行くよ」、そういう心にサッとなります。万物も主人を待っています。

そうではないですか？　犬がいたならその犬が寒は、または暑い夏に飽き飽きするような夜を過ごしながら、主人が出てくるのをどれほど待つでしょうか？　そのように寝ていた犬も、主人がすっと戸を開けて出てきたらいつのまにか尾を振ってサーッと走ってくるのです。朝、そうかそうでないか見てごらんなさい。どれほどうれしい表情をするか……。そういうことが分かるでしょう？

同じだというのです。すべての山野を従え、そういう心をもって「あの谷間に私が一度行ってみなければならないのだが。

煙立つあの谷間に村があるなら、あの村に一度行ってみなければならないのだが、いつか一度行かなければならないのだが」、そう思って行ったなら、既に霊界の先祖たちが天の貴賓が来るということで、その家の掃除をさせます。

そうだというのです。何の話か分かりますか？ （はい）。夢の中でみんな見て、何か知らずに「あ！　人がいないか？　誰か来るようだ」と言うのです。

3) The Responsibility of the Subject - 4

I have traveled often all over the Korean peninsula. As soon as I arrived in America, taking forty days, I roamed all over the 48 states, saying, "Run run. My footsteps must reach there.

You mountains, streams, grasses, and trees, you have been longing for me, haven't you? I am here now." Then, I visited every valley and prayed in the highest possible place . . . This is what you must do. When I open the doors and go out in some place, I feel the field greeting me and the thought emerges, "All right! I should go once. I will go. I will go even to the mountains."

All things also wait for the masters. Isn't that so? If there is a dog, how much would it have waited for the owner to come out, waiting for the night to pass in the cold winter or hot summer.

Even if the dog fell asleep, when the owner opens the door and comes out, it will rise up and rush toward him waving his tails. You should see in the morning. You should see if that is true or not. See how happy its expressions are . . . Do you know such things?

It is the same. As you travel over the mountains and fields you should have the attitude, "I should go and visit that valley. If there is a village in the valley where the smoke is coming from, then I should go and visit the village once. I should go there sometimes."

When you go with that kind of mindset, then the ancestors in the spirit world will make the people in the household to start clean up because the VIP of heaven is coming to visit. This will take place. Do you understand? [Yes] They will see the whole thing in their dream and unconsciously say, "Is there someone there? It seems like someone is coming here."
