What should they repent for, and what are the fruits of repentance? They should repent for persecuting, neglecting, despising, and excluding the poor, the marginalized, and the weak.

Among the issues for repentance is the treatment of the poor, which, while not the only concern, serves as an example. It shows how much concern and compassion Jesus has for the poor. Therefore, we should also care for and have compassion for them.

In the past, the church played a significant role in helping the poor, but now the government largely fulfills that role. The time has come for the church to rediscover its essence. The church no longer needs to build schools and hospitals, as these efforts often led to frauds and criticism.

Now, it is more important for people of faith to live out their faith at home, at work, and in society, becoming light and salt to the world.
