In today's passage, the temptation Jesus faced was part of God's divine plan—He was led to be tempted by the devil. According to verse 1, Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, was led by the Spirit into the wilderness and was tempted by the devil. What is important is not where you are led by the Spirit, but that you are led by the Spirit itself. Because Jesus was tempted while being full of the Holy Spirit, we too can be tempted by the devil when we are full of the Holy Spirit.
Didn't it seem as if God had abandoned Jesus when He was hungry for 40 days in the wilderness? Didn't it seem the same when He was crucified? It's okay. Someday, God will reveal His servant. Didn't the devil leave? Overcome the temptation.
And when it says that the devil left Him for a time, it means that the devil would reappear. That is, he will appear again. Do not forget that there will be temptations at every moment; do not find it strange.
