Scientists have detected chirping waves from outer space in an unexpected palce.
The sound you're listening to isn't birds chirping.
They're bursts of plasma called chorus waves.
Scientists still aren't sure how the waves happen, but they think Earth's magnetic field may have something to do with it.
Now, researchers have sensed the chirping waves farther away, over 62,000 miles from Earth, where they're never been measured before.
We definitely need to find more of these events.
We meed to model and simulate more of these events so that we can understand them a little bit better.
