 (겔38:1-23)
1 The word of the LORD came to me:  2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him  3 and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.  4 I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army--your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.  5 Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets,  6 also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah 벧 도가르마의 역사적·역사지리학적 근거앗수르와 히타이트의 기록 (가장 확실한 고고학적 증거):고대 히타이트 문서에는 이 지역이 '테가라마(Tegarama)'로, 기원전 8~7세기 앗수르(Assyria) 제국의 점령 기록에는 '틸-가리무(Til-Garimmu)'라는 요새 도시로 선명하게 기록되어 있습니다. 이 도시의 위치가 바로 오늘날 튀르키예 시바스(Sivas)주에 있는 구룬(Gürün) 지역입니다.아르메니아와 조지아의 건국 신화:유대인 역사학자 요세푸스는 이들을 '프리기아인'으로 비정하기도 했으나, 이 지역의 원주민인 아르메니아인들과 조지아(그루지야)인들은 자신들의 고대 민족 신화에서 자신들을 '토르곰(Thorgom, 도가르마의 현지 발음)의 후손'이라고 기록하고 있습니다.말과 군마를 기르던 산악 지대:에스겔 27장 14절을 보면 *"도가르마 족속은 말과 군마와 노새를 그 상품과 바꿨다"*는 구절이 나옵니다. 실제로 고대 아나톨리아 동부(카파도키아 및 아르메니아 고원)는 황무지와 험준한 산악 지대로 이루어져 있어, 고대 세계에서 최고급 전투용 말과 군마를 사육해 수출하던 핵심 요충지였습니다.
 from the far north with all its troops--the many nations with you.  7 "'Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them.  8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.  9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.  10 "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme.  11 You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people--all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.  12 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land."  13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?" '  14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it?  15 You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army.  16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.  17 "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them.  18 This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD.  19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.  20 The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.  21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man's sword will be against his brother.  22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.  23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'  


마곡 (Magog): 최고 통치자 곡이 다스리는 본토...역사적으로 흑해와 카스피해 북방의 유목 민족(스키타이) 영토 또는 중앙아시아 일대로 해석
로스 (Rosh): 개역개정 성경에 "로스와 메섹과 두발 왕 곡"으로 등장합니다. 명칭의 유사성 때문에 러시아(Russia)로 해석하는 가설과, '우두머리(치프)'를 뜻하는 일반 명사로 해석하는 신학적 견해가 대립합니다.
메섹 (Meshech): 고대 앗수르 기록의 '무스키(Mushki)' 부족입니다. 현대 튀르키예 중동부 고원 지대에 해당
두발 (Tubal): 고대 앗수르 기록의 '타발(Tabal)' 부족입니다. 메섹과 인접한 현대 튀르키예 동부 일대입니다.
고멜 (Gomer): 고대 서양사에서 '키메르인(Cimmerians)'으로 불린 호전적인 유목 민족입니다. 현대 튀르키예 안나톨리아 북부 또는 일부 유럽 지역으로 비정됩니다.
벧 도가르마 (Beth Togarmah): 고대 히타이트의 '테가라마', 앗수르의 '틸-가리무'입니다. 현대 튀르키예 동부 및 아르메니아 국경 지대

남방 및 서방 동맹군 (곡의 군대에 합류한 세력)
바사 (Persia): 고대 페르시아 제국의 발상지입니다. 현대의 이란(Iran)과 정확히 일치
구스 (Cush): 고대 나일강 상류의 누비아 왕국. 현대의 수단(Sudan) 중심이자 에티오피아 북부를 아우르는 지역입니다.
붓 (Put): 고대 이집트 서쪽의 북아프리카 민족. 현대의 리비아(Libya) 지역에 해당

방관 및 상업 세력 (곡의 침략을 지켜보는 주변국)
스바 (Sheba): 아라비아반도 남부의 무역 강국 현대의 예멘(Yemen) 지역
드단 (Dedan): 아라비아반도 북서부의 오아시스 상업 도시 현대 사우디아라비아 북서부(알울라 일대)
다시스 (Tarshish): 구약 성경에서 '지중해 끝에 있는 먼 섬이나 해안가'를 뜻. 주로 고대 페니키아의 식민 도시였던 현대 스페인 남부(타르테소스) 지역으로 해석

오늘 말씀의 핵심은
이스라엘:주변열강연합군 이라는 전쟁관련
이는 아마도 내 생각에는 아마겟돈 전쟁을 지칭하는 것이 아닐까... 하는 생각
실질적인 이스라엘을 향한 전쟁을 의미하기 보다는
최후심판(最後審判)을 의미하는 것이라는 생각이 든다

그래서 이중의미(二重意味)가 있는 것이 아닌가... 하는 생각을 하게 된다
1948.5.14. 이스라엘의 재건 및 독립국가가 된 이후
그 나라가 현재까지 처한 상황에서의 가불시각적전쟁(可不視覺的戰爭)을 의미(意味)할 뿐만 아니라
전세계적 기독교를 향한 비기독교도들의 공격을 의미하는 것이라는 내 판단

다가올 시대는 어둡고 절망적이지만
나는 생각한다
그것은 하나님의 영역이고
나는 오직 내 할 본분(本分) 몫 주어진 일 만을 생각하기로...
그리고
힘들다는 생각 , 고통, 스트레스... 보다는
하나님께 감사할 수 있는 일들만을 바라보며 
하나님의 종으로써 내세를 약속받은 존재로서의 행복을 확인하며 
하루하루를 살아야 하겠다는 마음을 다지며 살고
오늘도 역시 그러해야 하겠다는 마음으로 
오늘이라는 하루를 시작한다
