This wave of mass resistance didn't start with foreign agitators, but it started in the lycées and the university halls, and it originally started with high school and college kids in places like Créteil and Paris, peacefully protesting against dilapidated classrooms, severe underfunding, overcrowded schools, and the crushing weight of state austerity.

But the truth is that millions of non-white French citizens, aren't some recent invaders, but they're multi-generational French people whose families came from former colonies or overseas territories like Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Réunion.
