From my experiences living in the US, I would have to agree with your assessment. The general concensus among my friends is that Chinese are more similar to Europeans and Americans than to Koreans, as far as their interpersonal relationships are concerned.
It doesn't surprise me to find out that Korean vocabulary is "better" adapted to express feelings and emotions, whereas Chinese is "better" at making logical descriptions.
But I don't see this as a negative at all. I like that fact that our people have more "jung" than others. I think that speaks positively of us and our culture. We value human relationships, the interpersonal workings that create a bond within a society.
Yes, being driven too much by our hearts can hurt us in certain sense, but I'd rather take what we have over the alternative.
