윤석열 전 대통령의 변호사 자격이 취소됐다.

대한변호사협회(변협)는 29일 대법원에서 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처) 체포 방해 혐의로 징역 7년을 확정받은 윤 전 대통령의 변호사 자격을 전날 취소했다고 밝혔다.

윤 대통령 변호사 자격 취소는 법무부의 취소 명령에 따른 것이다. 변호사법상 변호사 명부에 등록된 자가 금고 이상의 형을 확정받으면 결격 사유에 해당해 법무부장관이 대한변협에 등록 취소를 명해야 한다.

Former President Yoon Suk-yeol's attorney license has been revoked.
