김의겸 더불어민주당 의원이 24년 전 자신이 작성한 기사 내용이 최근 더불어민주당 전당대회 국면에서 다시 확산되자 “사실관계가 달랐다”며 본인 기사를 정정했다.

김 의원은 31일 페이스북 글에서 ‘24년 만에 쓰는 정정기사’라는 제목의 글을 올리고 “김민석 의원이 ‘노무현은 내가 죽여버리겠어’라고 말했다는 내용의 웹자보가 소셜미디어에서 대량으로 유포되고 있다는 사실을 뒤늦게 알게 됐다”며 “출처는 24년 전 제가 쓴 한겨레21 기사였다”고 했다.

그는 “‘이제 영등포로 가겠다, 중앙정치에서 내려와 밑바닥에서 다시 시작’이라는 제목의 인터뷰에서 해당 의혹을 직접 물었고 김 의원은 ‘무협지 수준의 이야기이며 황당한 코미디다. 그런 말이 돌고 있다는 사실도 처음 들었다’고 부인했다”고 했다.
