1. A few years ago, there was a oil spill on the east sea of my country, korea. A huge amount of oil covered sea water and the east coast of korea. it has an adverse impact on not only the ecology but also fishing industry of the resion, becasue people could not capture a lot of fish anymore. Informed with the news through TV, people all over the nation came to get rid of oil and clean the region. Thnaks to their effort, the ecology of the area was restored now.
2. This is kind of complicated question to me, and every thing depends on the age of stuwents. On one hand, if young students, I mean those attending elementary and middle school go abrouad for study, they should go with their families. Because they are immature to solve problems they have in their classes, club activities and even their dormitory lives, they need some pieces of advice from their parents. On the other hand, if students are old enough, I mean university students, they can go abroad by their own for study. They can solve all the problems they have with their campus lives and those practices would teach them independence.
3. The female students strongly disagress with the university announcement that it is going to remove vending muchines from university. First of all, she argues th at if university wants to make students live healthy lives, it should replace junk foods in vendhing machines with healthy food, such as nuts and vegetable juice. By removing junk food and making healthy foods available for students, the university can help students improve their health. Moreover, the woman maintains that students cannot get acces to convenience store off the campus whenever they want to purchase some snakes. Students cannot go out of campus to eat snaks between classes and when they at night. For these reasons, the famle students disagres with the announcement.
4. The lecturer tells bout the example of his son in order to explain the concept of magnification. According to the professor, his son wanted to be an actor, and one day he got the opportunity to play an important character in university play. Even though his overall acting was great, he thought negatively about his acting, focusing only on minute mistake of gforgeting one line, although a lot og people were moved by his play. Next, year, he regected a good opportunity to participtte in another play because he believed that he was a terrible actor. All the process that I am talking about is exactly exaplaining how negative thought influence people's behavior and decision.
5. The female student has a serious problem because she has a schedule conflict between having time with her father and studying for her biology? exam tomorrow. Given the choice between two possible solutions, I would choose the first one if I were in the woman's situation. If she choose to break the appointment with her father and study for the exam, even though she would not have much opportunity to spend time with her father, her father would understand her since he wants for her to perform welll in university. On the other hand, if she chose to have dinner with her father and study after is, she would have to stay up late for study and feel tired while taking exam. For these reasons, i would recommend....
6. The lecturer explains how fish are able to float by using two methods, The first method is using special fins which stick out of two sides of fish's body. For example, when push its fins, it can obtain life and move forward and swim constantly. The second method is usage of swim bladder, a small pouch filled with air. For instance, when pike absorbs oxygen, it releases some of air into its swim bladder so it can avoid sinking even when it is not moving. All the process that I am talking about is explaining how fish can remain buoyant.

In the lecture, the lecturer argues that releasing sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere of the earth is effective method to deal with global warming. This casts doubt on the reading's idea that sulfar dioxide cooling has several flaws. In othe words, the reading is somewhat wrong, less convincing and even overgeneralized.
To begin with, the lecturer maintains that sulfur dioxide induces acid rain only when it is released into the lowest level of the atmosphere which has a lot of water vapor. The professor adds that it they are released into higher level of the atmosphere that has little water vapor, sulrfur dioxide colling can be successful without the concern about acid rain. This refutes the reading's point that sulfur dioxide has an adverse impract on the evrionment by causing acid rain.
Moreover, the lecturer asserts that sulfur dioxide cooling is not expensive compared to other measures taken to cope with global warming. The proffesor suggests that other solutions , such as inventing vehicles with less emission cost a lot more than releasing sulfur dioxide into atmosphere. This rebuts the readin's point that sulfur dioxide cooling is prohibitive.
Lastly, the lecturer contends that even a small decline in global temperature can have huge positive influence on the earth. This is because even a small increase in global temperature results in polar ice cap melting, the rise of sea level and serious flood. This contradicts the reading's idea that the effect of sulfur dioxide seeding is quite limited.

Over the past a few decades, it has been generally argued about whether people living in cities can better take care of their families. Some people might say that people in rustic areas can better look after their family members; nevertheless, other people might disagree with it. However, I am convinced that people in urban areas have better opportunity to take care of their families, especially their children. Actually, I have a couple of reasons for my assertion. I will clearly show and develop why I maintain my insistence as specifically as I can in the next following paragraphs: better quality of education and diverse activities to enjoy with families
To begin with, people can take care of their children easily in terms of helping them receive high quality of education. In rural regions, there are limited number of professional teachers and advanced educational equipment, so children cannot enjoy decent education. On the other hand, schools in cities have a lot of professional teachers and educational implement so that children can receive quality education. To tell one of my storeis as an example, when I was 17 years old, I had to moved to countryside due to my father's workplace. A school in my village has a few teachers, so one teacher had to teah a number of subjects even though they did not have professionl knowledge in various fields. Therefore, I could not obtain knowledge that I want from school, so my father had to teach me after coming back home from work. Two years later, my family moved to a city where I attended school with a lot of professional teachers, so my father did not have to worry about my education any more. If I had not migrated to urban areas and attended school in rural regions, I could not receive high-quality education and my father would have concerned about my study.
Moreover, people in citie can enjoy a variety of activities with their families. Some people might say that people can have joyful time with their families regardless of where they live. Yet, urban areas provide people with numerous places for them to spend time with their families from museum to amusement park. For instnace, when I was in elementary school, I lived in urban area and every weekend, my family went to diverse places, such as museunms and amusement parks. Therere, my family enjoyed a variety of activities. In fact, KSC, Korean Statistical Center in South Korea conducted a survey on 1000 people pertaining to whether living in cities help them spend a enjoyable time with their children. Interstingly, about more than 80 percent of them relied that by participating in diverse activities in cities, they can spend joyful time with their children. This clearly shows that cities are better places for people to have time together with their children.
