《To Our Children's Children's Children》은 무디 블루스의 다섯 번째 정규 앨범으로, 1969년 11월에 발매되었습니다.

배경
이 앨범은 무디 블루스가 새로 설립한 Threshold 레코드 레이블에서 발매된 첫 번째 앨범으로, 레이블 이름은 같은 해에 발매된 이전 앨범 《On the Threshold of a Dream》에서 따왔습니다. 앨범은 1969년 달 착륙에서 영감을 받았습니다. 드러머 그레이엄 에지는 "정말 흥분되는 시기였어요. 인류가 막 달에 발을 디뎠고, 우리는 이 앨범을 일종의 타임캡슐처럼 생각했죠. 그 역사적인 시대에 살면서 느꼈던 모든 생각과 감정을 담았어요."라고 회상합니다. 키보디스트 마이크 핀더는 "저에게 있어 이 앨범은 달에 가고 싶지만 갈 수 없는 모든 사람들을 위한 로켓과 같았어요. 이어폰을 끼거나 스테레오 볼륨을 높여 카펫에 누워 달에 있는 듯한 기분을 느낄 수 있도록 말이죠."라고 덧붙였습니다.
