(서울=연합뉴스) 설승은 기자 = 이재명 대통령은 7일 오후 2시 청와대에서 부동산 정책 점검 2차 회의를 주재하고 수도권 공급 대책을 논의한다.

이날 회의에선 이 대통령이 첫 회의에서 주문한 공급 대책에 대해 각 부처가 검토한 결과를 공유·점검한다.

조만간 정부가 발표할 공급 대책의 내용과 발표 시기 등 세부 사항 조율도 집중적으로 이뤄질 것으로 보인다.

이 대통령이 지난 회의에서 기존에 발표한 수도권 공급대책을 전반적으로 다시 짚어볼 것을 함께 지시한 만큼, 이와 관련한 내용도 이번 회의에서 다뤄질 전망이다.

강유정 청와대 수석대변인은 전날 브리핑에서 "대통령이 주문한 주택 공급 확대와 속도에 대해 다각적 방안을 검토하고 있다"며 "구체적인 공급 대책의 내용과 발표 시기는 2차 회의 후 답을 드릴 수 있지 않을까"라고 언급한 바 있다.

이 대통령은 앞서 미국·남미 순방에서 귀국한 당일인 지난 3일 곧장 청와대로 출근해 7시간 30분에 걸친 회의를 통해 신속히 공급할 수 있는 주택 물량 확보를 당부한 바 있다.

이 대통령은 당시 "최대한 신속하게 많은 주택이 공급될 수 있도록 가능한 공급 물량을 최대한 확보하는 한편, 가용한 행정조치와 금융·재정·규제 완화 등 신속한 공급 실현 방법을 찾으라"고 주문했다.

그러면서 "기존 공급 대책을 전면 재점검하고 현실적인 국민 요구를 다각적으로 살펴 꼼꼼히 추진하라"며 금융·주택공급 관련 추가 보고 및 회의를 지시했다.

SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Jae Myung was set to hold a meeting Friday to discuss housing supply plans as the government seeks to cool down heated real estate prices.

At the closed-door meeting set for 2 p.m., government ministries are expected to present housing supply proposals following Lee's instruction to officials earlier this week to secure a speedy housing supply.
​
Housing prices in Seoul and adjacent areas remain prohibitively high, making it a major policy task for the Lee administration to rein in the overheated real estate market.
​
On Monday, the government unveiled a new set of tax revisions aimed at increasing the tax burden on owners of high-value homes.
​
The government is also expected to announce major housing supply plans in the near future.
​
During a relevant meeting on Monday, Lee instructed officials to "secure as much (housing) supply as possible ... and come up with plans for the prompt implementation of supply measures, including available administrative measures, financing and regulatory easing."
