B So, what's the itinerary?Ken The tour includes snorkeling, exploring the island's history and culture, and relaxing on the beach.
Betty Sounds like a fun-packed tour! How much is the package?
K It's $500 per person, which includes transportation, meals, and accommodation.B It's not cheap... but I trust your judgment.
K Betty, I've found a few hotels and we have to decide by tomorrow.B Okay. Wow, this one has a rooftop pool, but it's quite expensive.
Ken Yeah, it is. Looks like that one is more affordable, but it's far from the beach./ Betty Hmm, it's a tough decision.
Ken The location of the first hotel is great, but it's certainly not cheap.
Betty And the second one is more affordable but might not be as comfortable.
Betty Ken, I think we should go with the first hotel. We can save some money by eating out less. Ken Totally agree.
Betty Also, I found some special events that are happening during our stay there./ Ken Oh, what kind of events?
Betty Well, there's a music festival, a food fair, and a parade./ Ken Wow, let's add those events to our itinerary.
Ken Hey, Tom, can I ask you a huge favor? Tom Shoot./ Ken I was woundering if you could house-sit for me during my vacation.
T Sure thing, Ken. What do you need me to do?/ K Just feed my fish and water my plants. And also check the mail once a day.
Tom No problem, I can handle that. Ken Wow, thank you! You're a life saver.
Betty Mom, I'll be going away for vacation. Mom That's great, Betty. How long will you be gone?
Betty A little over a week. We're going to a small island in the Caribbean.
Mom Sounds like a great adventure, but you take good care of yourself, okay?/ Betty I will, Mom. Don't worry. I'm a big girl now.
Mom Make sure to eat well and be careful when you're outdoors. And don't go anywhere alone.
