그림자와 빛의 원천 모두                                                                         자랄루딘 루미(Rumi)          세상의 한 부분이 어떻게 세상을 떠나는가? 습기가 어떻게 물을 떠나나? 불을 더 붙여서 불을 끄려 하지 마! 상처를 피로 씻지 마. 아무리 빨리 달려도 그림자는 따라온다. 가끔은 앞에 있기도 해! 오직 머리 위 태양만이 그림자를 줄여준다. 하지만 그 그림자는 너를 위해 일해왔어. 당신을 아프게 하는것이 축복을 준다. 어둠은 당신의 촛불이다. 당신의 경계는 당신의 여정이다. 설명할 수도 있지만, 그건 당신 마음의 유리 덮개를 깨뜨릴 것이고, 그건 고칠 수 없다. 그림자와 빛 모두 모두 있어야 한다. 경외의 나무 아래에 머리를 얹어라. 그 나무에서 깃털과 날개가 돋아날때, 비둘기보다 조용히 해라. 한마디도 입 열지 마.   Shadow and Light Source Both   How does a part of the world leave the world? How does wetness leave water? Dont' try to put out fire by throwing on more fire! Don't wash a wound with blood. No matter how fast you run, your shadow keeps up. Sometimes it's in front! Only full overhead sun diminishes your shadow. But that shadow has been serving you. What hurts you, blesses you. Darkness is your candle. Your boundaries are your quest. I could explain this, but it will break the glass cover on your heart, and there's no fixing that. You must have shadow and light source both. Listen, and lay your head under the tree of awe. When from that tree feathers and wings sprout on you, be quieter than a dove. Don't even open your mouth for even a coo.
