The secret to answered prayer lies in the fact that Jesus did not simply say "bread," but rather "three loaves of bread." This means we should pray specifically. It is a reminder to know exactly what we need to ask for when we pray.
When we are in a crisis or when we have run out of what we need, we must ask, seek, and knock on God's door because His response is promised. What is truly important and necessary is revealed and granted when we ask, seek, and knock on God's door.
Jesus does not set any conditions: "For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, it will be opened."
Why does Jesus mention receiving the Holy Spirit at the conclusion of His teaching on prayer and receiving answers? It is because what God most wants to give us is the Holy Spirit. We are weak and do not even know what to pray for. Therefore, we must seek the Holy Spirit, who gives us new strength and empowers us to overcome the world. We should seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit and become believers who are used as servants in the church, equipped with His power.
