Crazy about Nintendo DS
My two sons got excited because they were supposed to see one of my older son’s friends at the park near my apartment at 3 P.M.. My younger son, who can’t consult a watch, kept asking me what time it was from early this morning. The reason they wanted to see the friend was that they wanted to step up to the high level stages than they conquered in the games called Nintendo DS. The friend was supposed to step up to the high level stages instead of my sons because he knows how to complete the stages.
There are the very strict rules to my sons. My two sons can play with Nintendo DS and Wii only in the weekend. And they can do for 30 minutes solely twice a day in the weekend. Furthermore, they can play with the games only if they study. So, my poor sons have to study or read even in the weekend in order to play with Nintendo DS and Wii. The rules do the trick well. They don’t play with the games on weekdays. But, it caused that the stages my two sons conquered were lower than my older son’s friends’ stages. Because some of my older son’s friends play with the games at least once a day, they already stepped up to the high level stages in the games. My poor sons didn’t dare to step up to the high level stages because they couldn’t play with the games enough.
Because it was windy outside and my older son has the symptom of a runny nose, I forced my sons to stay at home and invite my older son’s friend. When the friend came to my house, they played with the games. After they played with the games, they kept talking about the games. Even though I overheard, I couldn’t understand what they were talking about.
Nintendo, the manufacturer of Nintendo DS and Wii has been making a lot of money since it released the games all over the world. In case of Nintendo DS, my husband bought two game players and lots of software titles. In case of Wii, he bought one console and many software titles. I guess that he spent at least one million won buying them. Last year, Nintendo’s net revenues outdid Sony’s and Toyota’s, which are the big companies in Japan. Of course, Nintendo’s sales couldn’t outdo Sony’s and Toyota’s because the game products are much cheaper than home appliances and cars. My family helped Nintendo to succeed by buying the games, even though we had no intention of helping the company.
첫댓글 My cousins are all crazy about that "expensive" game too. -_- I cannot ignore the great power of game...
There are three kids being crazy about the games in my family, including my husband. At times, I virtually throw the games away.
I always think you have a lot of story about your children. Enjoy the beautiful days. ^^
Well, becaus I spend my whole time taking care of my kids, most of my stories are about my kids. TT
