Bible Reading - John 13:21~29

13:21 After he had said this, 그가 이것을 말한 후에 

Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, 예수께서 심령에 괴로워하시며 증거하셨다.

"I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me."

"내가 진실을 말한다. 너희 중에 하나가 나를 배반할 예정이다."

13:22 His disciples stared at one another, 그의 제자들이 서로를 응시했다.

at a loss to know which of them he meant. 그들 중에 누구를 그가 의미하는지 알 수 없었다.

13:23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.

그들 중에 예수께서 사랑하셨던 제자가 그에게 기대어있었다.

13:24 Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, 시몬 베드로가 이 제자에게 손짓하여 말하기를 

"Ask him which one he means." 그가 의미하는 그 사람을 그에게 물어보라.

13:25 Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?"

예수께 돌이켜 기대면서 그가 물었다. "주님, 그것이 누구입니까?"

13:26 Jesus answered,예수께서 대답하셨다.

 "It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread 내가 이 빵을 줄 사람이 바로 그 사람이다

when I have dipped it in the dish." 내가 그 접시 안에 그것을 담갔을 때

Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.

그때, 빵 조각을 담그며 그는 시몬의 아들 갸룟 유다에게 그것을 주었다.

13:27 As soon as Judas took the bread, 유다가 그 빵을 받자마자 곧 

Satan entered into him. 사탄이 그의 안으로 들어갔다.

"What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him,

"네가 해야 할 것을 속히 하라."고 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다.

13:28 but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.

그러나 아무도 예수께서 그에게 이것을 말했던 이유를 이해하지 못했다. 

13:29 Since Judas had charge of the money,

유다가 돈을 맡았기 때문에 (유다가 돈의 책임을 가지고 있었기에)

some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor.

몇몇은 예수께서 그에게 잔치를 위해 필요한 것을 사도록 그에게 말하거나 혹은 가난한 자들에게 무엇인가를 주도록 말하고 있었다고 생각했다.
