Despising God(Blasphemy)... Clause 227.  褻神(설신)은 불경스러운 말로서 하나님을 업신 여기는 것이다.  Seolsin means despising God through irreverent and blasphemous words. 하늘의 道理(도리)를아는 사람은 하늘을 능멸하지 않으며 하늘의 이치를 아는 자는 하늘을 원망하지 않는다.  Those who understand the Way of Heaven do not disdain Heaven,  and those who comperhend the laws of Heaven do not resent Heaven. 따라서 하늘을 업신여기는 자는 無道(무도)와 無理(무리)한 사람인 것이다.  Therefore, one who despises Heaven is a person devoid of morality(Mudo)    and lacking in reason(Muri).  [Original Text, 원문] 褻神者는 以不敬言語로 褻天神也라 (설신자는 이불경언어로 설천신야라)  Seolsin(Blasphemy) means despising the heavenly God through irreverely  and disrespectful language.  知天道者는 不凌天하며  (지천도자는 불릉천하며)   Those who know the Way of Heaven do not insult or disdain Heaven, 知天理者는 不怨天하나니 (지천리자는 불원천하나니)  and those who understand the Law of Heaven do ont resent or blame Heaven. 是以로 褻天者는 無道無理하느니라. (시이로 설천자는  무도무리하느니라.)  Therefore, those who despise Heaven are completely deyoid of morality(Mudo)   and  utterly lacking in reason(Muri).  [explanation, 풀이] 하늘의 도리를 안다면 만사가 하나님의 뜻하는 바대로 움직이고 있음을 안다.  If one knows the Way of Heaven,  they understand that all things in the universe move according to the will of God. 어찌 감히 하나님을  능멸할 생각을 할 수 있겠는가?  How then could anyone dare to entertain the thought of disdaining or insulting God? 하늘의 이치를 안다면 그 이치가 크고 넓어 인간의 작고 좁은 생각이 미치기 어려움을 안다.  If one understands the law of Heaven,  they realize that its principles are so vast and wide that the small and narrow mind   of humans can hardly fathom them. 그러한즉 어찌 하늘을 원망할 수 있겠는가?  This being so, how could anyone harbor resentment or complain against Heaven?   ※ Vocabulary Insight.      ● 능멸하지 않으며( Do not disdain) : 업신여기거나 모욕하지 않는다는 뜻으로,                'disdain' 혹은 'iook down upon'으로 표현할 수 있습니다.      ●  無道(무도, Mudo)와 無理(무리,Muri) :         ■ 無道(무도, Mudo) : 도덕이나 도리가 없음(Devoid of morality / Wayward).         ■ 無理(무리, Muri) : 이치나 마땅한 도리에 어긋남(Lacking in reason / Irrational).   ※ Key Linguistic Insights.       ● 不敬言語(불경언어) : 경건하지 못하고 불손한 말(Irreverent / disrespectful language).      ● 不凌天(불릉천) : 하늘을 업신여기거나 능멸하지 않는다(Do not insult / disdain Heaven).      ● 不怨天(불원천) : 하늘을 원망하지 않는다(Do not resent / blame Heaven).      ● 是以(시이) : "이로써", "이 때문에"라는 뜻의 접속사(Therefore / Hence).      ● 만사(All things) : 세상의 모든 일과 현상을 뜻하므로 "all things"혹은 조금더 장중하게                                      "all things in the universe"로 표현했습니다.      ● 생각이 미치기 어려움을 안다(Hardly fathom) : 인간의 지혜가 하늘의 거대한 뜻에 도달하지                못한다는 의미이므로, 깊이를 헤아리기 어렵다는 뜻의 "fathom' 또는 "reach / comperhend"를                 사용하는 것이 자연스럽습니다.      ●  어찌 ~할 수 있겠는가?(How could abyone...?) : 반어법적인 질문(설의법)의 어저를 살려                 수사학적 질문(Rhetorical question)의 형태로 매끄럽게 번역했습니다.
