시작기도: 좋으신 주님! 교회 공동체의 주인이 되시고, 영원한 사랑으로 교회 공동체를 지켜주시며 바른 길로 인도하시는 주님! 오늘도 교회 공동체 한 사람 한 사람에게 새날을 허락하시고 새로운 한 날을 시작할 수 있도록 은혜를 베풀어 주심을 감사드립니다. 오늘 하루도 주님께서 지켜주시고 인도하여 주셔서 주님 안에서 승리하는 하루의 생활이 되게 하여 주심을 감사드리고 특별히 하루의 일을 시작할 때 교회 공동체가 모여 새벽기도로 인도하여 주심을 감사드리며 한 심령 한 심령을 온전히 주장하셔서 내 힘과 수단과 방법으로 살지 않게 하여 주시고, 주님을 온전히 의지하여 내 지혜보다는 주님의 지혜를 의지하는 교회 공동체 한 심령 한 심령이 되게 인도하여 주시옵소서. 오늘도 주님의 영광을 드러낼 수 있는 교회 공동체가 되게 인도하여 주시옵소서. 또한 게으른 모습이 없기를 기도합니다. 주님이 주신 귀한 하루를 방종하며 헛되이 보내는 교회 공동체 한 심령 한 심령이 되지 않게 인도 하옵시고, 각자 맡은 바 일에 최선을 다하며 성실히 감당할 수 있는 교회 공동체들이 되게 인도하여 주옵소서. 집에서 나갈 때나 들어올 때 위험하고 실족하지 않게 보호하여 주심을 감사하옵나이다. 우리교회 공동체들을 구원하여 주신 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!!!

말씀해설: 드로아에서 밀레도까지(13~16절)

선교의 주체이신 성령님께서 바울 사도를 예루살렘으로 이끄십니다. 바울사도 일행은 드로아에서 출발하는데, 바울 사도는 일행과 잠시 헤어져 앗소까지 혼자서 걸어갑니다. 드로아에서 앗소까지는 액 32㎞입니다. 바울 사도는 만나는 사람에게 복음을 전했을 테지만, 무엇보다 예루살렘에서 맞닥뜨릴 일을 생각하며 주님 뜻을 구했을 것입니다. 일행을 다시 만난 바울 사도는 미둘레네, 기오, 사모를 지나 밀레도에 이릅니다. 기오는 고대 시인 호메로스의 출생지이고, 사모는 수학자 피타고라스의 출생지입니다. 바울사도 일행은 그 지역을 지나면서 기도하고 말씀을 전했을 것입니다. 바울 사도는 오순절 안에 예루살렘에 도착하기 위해 일정을 전략적으로 조정합니다.

에베소 장로들에게 권면함(17~24절)

에베소는 바울 사도가 오래 머물면서 전도한 곳입니다. 이번에는 그곳에 들르지 않기에 바울 사도는 사람을 보내 에베소 교회의 장로들을 밀레도로 부릅니다. 그리고 자신의 사역을 회고하면서 지도자의 삶과 사역이 어떠해야 하는지 일깨웁니다. 바울 사도는 복음을 전하는 과정에서 많은 시험과 고난을 겪었지만, 그때마다 겸손과 눈물과 인내로 사역을 끝까지 감당했습니다. 유대인에게도 이방인에게도 차별 없이 예수님 그리스도를 전했습니다. 바울 사도는 자신의 의지와 결심으로 예루살렘에 가는 것이 아니라 성령님의 주권적인 인도하심과 명령으로 가는 것이라고 밝힙니다. 그는 결박과 환난을 당할 것이 예고되었음에도 굴하지 않습니다. 죽음의 위협도 사면 완수를 위해 목숨을 건 사람의 헌신을 막을 수 없습니다.

Recommendations to the elders of Ephesus (vs. 17-24)

Ephesus is the place where Paul the Apostle stayed and preached for a long time; this time, because he did not stop there, Paul the Apostle sends a man to call the elders of the church of Ephesus to Miletus, and as he reflects on his ministry, he reminds them of what life and ministry of a leader should be like.,Paul experienced many trials and tribulations in the process of preaching the gospel, but each time he endured his ministry to the end with humility, tears, and perseverance, delivering Jesus Christ to both Jews and Gentiles without discrimination.,Paul reveals that he is not going to Jerusalem by his own will and determination, but by the sovereign guidance and command of the Holy Spirit; he does not give in, even though he is foretold of bondage and tribulation.,Even death threats can't stop a person's dedication from risking his or her life to complete the pardon.

기도: 하나님 아버지! 교회 공동체 안에서 하나님, 과정이 험난해도 사명을 놓지 않고 끝까지 복음을 위해 살기를 소망합니다. 오직 성령님에 매여 겸손히 십자가 사랑을 심고, 한결같이 헌신하게 하소서. 완전한 사랑과 구원을 베풀어 주신 주님께 제 전부를 기쁘게 드리게 하셔서, 자기 죄를 회개하고 성령님 충만함을 받아 변화되어 복음 전도자로 예수님 그리스도가 나의 주님과 구세주요 그리스도이시라는 것을 전파하는 교회 공동체가 되게 하소서. 주님 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!!!

‘교회 공동체가 한 명 있을지라도 그와 함께 행복한 목회를 하게 해 주십시오.’라고 기도하며 서원했던 저는 이천의 허름한 상가 지하교회에서 10년이 넘게 가족들과만 예배드리고 있습니다. 한번은 설교 말미에 자녀들에게 질문을 던졌습니다. 아빠는 행복한 사람처럼 보이는지, 자녀들 각자가 우리 집의 형편을 어떻게 생각하는지 물었습니다. 아빠는 행복해 보이고, 자기들은 크게 부족한 게 없는 것 같다는 자녀들에게 저의 신앙 여정을 이야기해 주었습니다. 그리고 삼위일체 하나님이 제 인생에 어떤 의미인지를 전했습니다.

누군가에게는 지금 제 현실이 실패한 것처럼 보일 수 있고, 초라해 보일 수도 있습니다. 그래서인지 많은 분이 “목사님, 힘드시죠?”라고 묻기도 합니다. 언젠가는 자녀들이 현실을 직시하게 될 텐데, 이것만은 꼭 알면 좋겠습니다. 하나님이 아바의 인생을 인도하시고 소명을 주셨듯, 자신들의 인생도 인도하시리라는 것을요. 저는 하나님의 은혜로 부름받았고 그분에 따라 자금의 현실을 감당하고 있는 ‘하나님의 종’일 뿐입니다. 열심ㅍ히 노력하고 수고해도 열매가 맺히지 않을 수 있겠지만, 그럼에도 그 수고와 노력 자체가 종에게 주시는 하나님의 은혜임을 날마다 고백하며 이 길을 걸어갑니다._두란노 Even if there is one church community, please let me have a happy ministry with him.
