FM2007 Blog part 4 of many - the boardroom Current mood: busy Today's new features blog deals with the boardroom, and is the first of 5 new features blogs this week ?a full round up, with screenshots, will also appear on our website at www.sigames.com on Friday. THE BOARDROOM The relationship between a manager and the board at a club is very important, and your link between the football and commercial world, and whereas some games in the genre decide to give you the option to set hot dog prices (which, let's be honest, has about as much to do with the job of being a football manager as forcing the user to cut the grass and painting the lines on the pitch before each match), this is an area that we leave to the chairman and chief executive. However, a true manager still wants to know what's going on, and help influence it in some ways, whilst the board take a lot more care over their clubs now. As well as the previously mentioned limiting of staff (not just scouts, but coaches too), if someone offers a transfer offer too good to be true, the board may well accept over your head. They also might limit the amount of wages you can offer a player who they haven't heard of. They are nicer in other areas though. If they are running out of cash,  losing interest in the club or realise it's too big a job for them, they might now invite people to make offers for the club, which could lead to a takeover. Different clubs will get offers from different groups, ranging from supporters clubs through to massive investment from abroad, so you could find your transfer budget tripled overnight, or the same shoestring budgets with more enthusiastic help from the board. Different chairmen have different personalities, of course, so some might not be happy with mid table obscurity, but it brings different challenges to the game. Or even end up with the new board giving you the sack as they appoint their own manager! One of the most requested features on the forums over the last couple of years has been that of stadium moves. As we try to model stadiums as accurately as we are allowed, many are set to not being able to be expanded due to a lack of available planning permission, just like in real life, so there were occasions when mighty FM managers took their clubs from obscurity to the top division to find that they couldn't get any more fans into the ground. Now, if you've got enough money in the bank, or if the board are confident of paying off any debts that are taken on via the increased amount of fans in the stadium, they will build a new shiny ground for the team to move into. You can also request relationships with feeder clubs, but that's a whole new section in itself, and we'll save that one for Friday I think?o:p> 2006년 9월 11일 월요일 수많은 파트중의 4번째, Boardroom(회의실) 지금 분위기 : 바쁘다. 오늘의 블로그 새 글은 Boardroom(회의실)에서 대해 이야기 할 것이다. 이번주에 블로그에 스크린샷과 함께 업로드될 첫 게시물이다. 또한 금요일에는 웹사이트에도 게시될 것이다. THE BOARDROOM 회의실 매니져와 구단측의 관계는 아주 중요하며, 축구뿐 아니라 경제에도 아주 신경을 써야한다. 어떤 장르의 게임에서는 당신에게 핫도그의 가격을 책정하라고 하겠지만(사실 매니져가 된다는 것은 구장의 잔디를 매번 손질하고 흰색 선을 긋는 것도 해야 할만큼 할 것이 많지만), FM에서는 구단주와 이사장의 임무이다. 하지만 진정한 매니져는 구단이 아주 신경을 쓰고 있는 동안에도, 어떻게 일이 되어가는지, 도울 수는 없는지 알고 싶어한다. 앞선 글에서 말했듯 스탭의 제한(스카우트 뿐 아니라 코치들도 제한된다.)처럼, 누가 만약에 정말로 좋은 협상을 시도해준다면 구단은 당신의 의견을 묻지않고 먼저 승낙할 것이다. 하지만 당신이 이름도 없는 선수에게 엄청난 주급을 주려했을때도 그 들은 간섭할 것이다.    더 멋진 것은, 만약에 그들의 자금이 동이 난다거나, 구단의 경영에 흥미를 잃었을때 그들은 구단을 인수할 다른 사람을 찾게된다. 해외의 투자와 같은 지원이 구단에 있을 수도 있기 때문에, 당신의 이적자금은 하루아침에 3배로 불어날 수 도있고, 신발끈을 꽉 조여야 할 수도있다. 당연히 구단주마다 다 다른 성격을 가지고 있다. 어떤 구단주는 중위권의 순위에도 만족할 것이지만, 또 다른 경우를 생각해보면 아주 거친 모험이 된다. 심지어 어떤 구단측은 새로운 매니져를 불러와놓고 당신의 짐을 챙겨놓는다.   포럼에 정말 몇년동안이나 꾸준히 요청되왔던 것은 구장의 이전이다. 우리가 최선을 다해 구장을 정확히 설계하려고 했음에도 불구하고 현실세계처럼 대다수가 구단 확장 계획 허가가 나지 않았기때문에  일부 고수 FM유저들은 구단을 세계 최고의 명문구단으로 만들어놓고도 자리가 없어서 더많은 팬들을 모우지 못하였다. 하지만 이번 게임에서는 구단의 은행에 돈이 충분히 있거나, 혹은 구단이 팬들의 증가에 만족을 하면, 그들은 당신의 팀을 아주 눈부신 새 구장으로 안내할 것이다.   당신은 또한 위성구단에 관한 업무도 가능하다. 이것은 이 자체로도 완전히 새로운 이야기 이기때문에 금요일날 연재될 글에 따로 다루겠다.
