Another bout of speculation that Coldplay and BTS is collaborating rose when lyrics from “My Universe,” thought to be the British band’s new song, was registered on lyrics database MatchLyrics on Thursday. 

목요일, 영국밴드 콜드플레이의 새로운 노래인 콜드플레이와 BTS가 협업을 한 “My Universe”가 가사 데이터베이스인 Matchlyrics에 등록되었다.

BTS’ label Bit Hit Music, however, said that it cannot confirm‎ the news yet asking fans to understand.

BTS의 소속사인 빅히트는 팬들에게 이해를 구하며 뉴스로 확인해줄 수 없다고 말했다.

There have been talks about the possibility since April when Chris Martin was reported to be in Korea, probably discussing a collab with a K-pop band. The conjecture peaked when a tweet appeared with a snapshot of lyrics from Coldplay’s new song from Genius, the largest lyrics database in the world, in June. The tweet, deleted now, reportedly included “Feat. BTS,” sending fans of both bands abuzz.

지난 4월부터 크리스 마틴이 한국에 있는 동안 K팜 밴드와의 협업을 논의할 것이라는 보도가 있었다. 그 추측은 6월 세계에서 가장 큰 가사데이터베이스인 Genius에 콜드플레이의 새노래가 올라간 것을 스냅샷으로 트위터에 나타났을 때 최고조에 달했다. 트윗은 지금은 지워졌지만 “피처링 BTS”라는 내용과 함께 양쪽 밴드의 팬들에게 보낸 것이다.

BTS covered the rock band’s “Fix You” in February at MTV’s Uplugged Presents and the quartet reacted with a tweet writing “beautiful” in Korean and “Love” in English along with the initials of the members.            BTS는 2월에 MTV의 Uplugged Presents에서 락밴드의 “Fix You”라는 곡을 발표했고 그 밴드는 한글로 “아름다워”, 영어로 ”사랑”을 멤버들의 이니셜과 함께 트위트했다.

Tomorrow X Together may be keeping up with the momentum coming out with new music in August, less than three months since the release of its second studio album, according to media reports on Thursday. 

목요일 미디어리포트에 의하면 투머로 엑스 투게더(TXT)는 두번째 스튜디오 앨범을 낸지 3개월도 안된 8월에 새로운 음악을 출시할 것 같다.

According to Billboard’s newest tally that was released on Tuesday in the US, the boy band’s second LP “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze” is still staying on Billboard 200, five weeks after entering it as No. 5 on June 19. The LP also ranked No. 2 on the publication’s world album chart, No. 3 on top current album sales chart, No. 4 on top album sales chart, and No. 8 on tastemaker album chart.

미국에서 화요일에 발표된 빌보드의 최근 통계에 의하면 이 남자밴드의 “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze”가 6월19일 5위로 진입해서 5주가 지난 지금까지 빌보드200에 머물러 있다. 이 LP는 월드앨범차트에 2위, 탑 커런트 앨범차트에 3위, 탑 앨범 세일즈 차트에 4위, 테이스트 메이커 앨범 차트에 8위를 기록하고 있다.

The full-length album sold the most copies ever for a K-pop band in its third year and also topped Oricon’s weekly album chart for four weeks in a row, and the band became the fourth international musician and the second international male act to achieve the feat.

K팝밴드가 3년차에 최다 전곡녹음앨범판매를 기록했고 4주연속 오리콘 주간 앨범부문 1위를 차지했고 이 밴드는 이런 기록을 달성한 4번째 국제적인 가수이고 남자로는 두번째였다.

IZ*ONE’s Eunbi to join K-pop app Universe

Kwon Eunbi of now-disbanded IZ*ONE will be opening a channel on K-pop platform Universe on July 19, announced developer NCSoft and its entertainment arm Klap on Thursday. 

지금은 해산된 IZ*ONE의 권은비가 7월19일 K팝 플랫폼에 채널을 열것 이라고 개발자 NC Soft와 이 회사의 기획사인 Klap이 목요일 발표했다.

She will unveil exclusive content through the channel named “Planet” as well as communicate with fans from around the world through private messages and fan meet events, they said. 

그녀는 ‘Planet”이라는 채널을 통해 독점적인 컨텐트를 공개하고 팬미팅 행사와 개인적인 메시지교환을 통해 커뮤니케이션할 것이라고 회사는 밝혔다.

The idol recently shared cover of IU’s “Eight,” a series of live performances from performers that belong to her agency Woollim Entertainment. She participated in writing lyrics for female band Rocket Punch for the group’s forthcoming debut album in Japan. Although she has had co-authored some songs for IZ*ONE, this is the first time she worked on a song for another musician.

이 아이돌은 아이유의 기획사인 우림 엔터테인먼트에 속해 있는 가수들의 실제공연인 “Eight”의 커버에 나왔다. 그녀는 여성밴드인 포켓펀치의 일본 데뷔앨범의 가사작업에 참여했다.

Blackpink drops teaser trailer for upcoming movie

Blackpink gave a taste of its upcoming movie “Blackpink The Movie” with a short trailer on Thursday. 

목요일, 블랙핑크가 개봉예정 영화 “블랙핑크 더 무비”의 영상공개를 했다.

It is full of sincerity of the four members as well as the heat from the heart-pounding concert, explained distributor CJ 4DX. In the teaser trailer that start with the news report on their debut, the bandmates look back on their five-year career.  가슴 뛰는 컨서트의 열기만이 아니라 4명 멤버의 진정성이 충만한 것이라고 배급사인 CJ4DX가 설명했다. 영상공개에서 데뷔에 대한 뉴스리포트로 시작해서 동료들이 지난 5년을 회상한다.

“I think it was the happiest moments of my life,” recalled Lisa. 

“제 생각으로는 내 생애에 가장 행복한 순간이었다.”라고 리사는 회상했다.

We are still experimenting with new things, they say, and we shine the most when the four of us take challenges together.  우리는 새로운 것을 실험 중이고 4명모두가 함께 도전할 때 빛난다고 말했다.

“Performing onstage is one of the best parts,” said Jennie.

“무대에서 공연하는 것이 최선이다.”라고 제니가 말했다.

The movie will show them perform more than 10 hit songs and also take the viewers backstage for interviews and behind-the-scenes moments. To maximize the experience, it will be available on four-dimensional format as well.  영화는 10개 이상의 히트곡을 보여주고 인터뷰를 위한 백스테이지와 무대 뒤의 순간들을 보여준다. 경험을 최대화하기위해 4차원형식도 시연 가능하다.

The movie will premiere on Aug. 4. 영화는 8월 4일 개봉예정이다.
