                       Subverting the Laws of Heaven... Article 229.

敗理(패리)는 하늘의 이치를 무너뜨려 어지럽게 하는 것이다.

  Paeri(ruining the principles) refers to subverting and disrupting the natural laws of Heaven.

착함을 버리고 악을 만들며 올바름을 버리고 사악함을 행하는 것은 하늘의 이치에 어긋나는 것이다.

  To abandon goodnesss to foster evil, and to forsake rightousness to practice wickedness,

  is to go against the laws of Heaven.

악을 만들면서 도리어 착함을 치며, 사악하면서 도리어 올바름을 물리친다면 하늘의 이치를 무너뜨리는 것이다.

  Creating evil yet instead attacking goodness, and being wicked yet instead rejecting rightousness,

  is what completely subverts the laws of Heaven.

敗理者는 壞亂天理也라 (패리자는 괴란천리야라)
  One who ruins the principles(paeri) is one who subverts and disrupts the laws of Heaven.

捨善而做惡하며 棄正而行邪는 違天理也요 (사선이주악하며   가정이행사는 위천리야요)
  To abandon goodness to ccommit evil,

   and to forsake rightousness to practice wickednesss, is to violate the laws of Heaven.

做惡而反伐善하며 邪而反貶正이면 敗天理也하느니라. (주악이반벌선하며 사이반폄정이면 패천리야 하느니라.)

  To commit evil and insteaad attack goodness,

   and to be wicked and instead demean rightousness, is to utterly ruin the laws of Heaven.
