In today's passage, we see that Jesus is not significantly mindful of the presence of these great people. As we live in this world, do not overly regard those greater than us—do not fear them. If we fear or are overly conscious of people, we will not be able to do what we need to do today or tomorrow. Only after today and tomorrow pass can the next day come. In other words, we must go through the process of time. Since this process is always necessary, if we endure well, we will bear fruit.
When we live by faith today, though we are on earth, we are living in the new heavenly Jerusalem. It means living as people who belong to heaven while being in this world.
