Hdid not want Heidi to leave him. He thought the goats and the other animals could teach her everything she needed to know. The next day a visitor arrived. It was Aunt Detie! "I have come to take Heidi. I heard adout a family in the city who needs a girl th spend thim with their little girl. She cannot walk. I thonk this is a good chance for Heidi to be around rich people", Detie told Grandfather. He was surprised, and triied to ell Detie that Heidi had everything she needed living with him. Detie did not listen tho him, and got Heidi' s things. She took the girl out the door with her. Grandfather was very sad. Heidi was sad to leave her grand father, too. Detie said if heidi not like it in Frankfurt, she could come back to the mountains and Grandfather. When Heidi and Detie passed Grannie's house, Grannie calld, "Don`t take the girl away!" Heidi was sad, and then Detie told her they could get some good bread for Grannie in the city. Gannie was very sad after that she missed Heidi's vissits. Grannie hoped she could see Heidi once more before she died. Grandfather didn't go and visit Grannie anymore. He became very quiet and stayed in his house. He felt very alone.
