If you call on the name of the Lord, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-13)
There is a big gap between the belief that Jesus rose from the grave and the belief that Christ, the resurrection and life, lives within me, who died in Adam.
Even Peter, who recognized that Jesus is the Christ and the Lord and the Son of God, began to accept and believe in Jesus as Lord, something that happened after the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
No one can believe and call Christ Emmanuel Lord except by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:3)
This is only when we know the mystery of the Lord's suffering and the glory after His suffering (1 Peter 1:11), as prophesied by the Old Testament prophets, through the revelation, we will know that the new covenant has been fulfilled in us.
Because we do not know the new covenant in which Christ, the Spirit of truth, works within us, eschatology, soteriology, and Christian ecclesiology are all confused, and so meaningless speech bubbles that emphasize heresy and the kingdom of God but fail to explain the methods, procedures, and processes abound.
Q. What does it mean to believe in Jesus as Lord?
“That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9)
A. We confess Jesus as Lord without hesitation with our mouths.
This is something that comes out naturally in the mouth.
Just like Koreans speak Korean...
So, I sometimes check the person's faith by asking him to call on the Lord.
At that time, it was not easy to confess that Jesus was Lord.
Perhaps people who still call the Jesus of 2,000 years ago their Lord have been brainwashed after being gaslighted for a long time and habitually call Him Lord.
Nevertheless, when you ask where the Lord is, there are many idiots who point to the sky.
If you directly call Jesus Lord, it is the same as calling another person Father.
However, when the Holy Spirit comes in you, you will automatically confess Jesus Christ as Lord. (1 Corinthians 12:3)
If we believe this fact in our heart, we are saved.
This is a very surprising thing.
As I listen to the words of Christ, at some point, Christ is within me.
I find myself in Christ.
So it is a word of faith that come to believe.
The problem is that an Apollos-level pastor who only knows water baptism cannot perform the baptism of the Holy Spirit like Paul.
We know by revelation that Jesus is the Christ and that Christ is Emmanuel, the Spirit of truth.
Therefore, only when the preacher preaches the word with the spirit of revelation through the baptism of the Holy Spirit can the listeners also believe in the indwelling work of Christ by the spirit of revelation.
And the content of faith is believing that He was raised from the dead.
If you don't believe that He rose from the grave, you won't be eligible to enter seminary.
However, through the spirit of revelation, I came to believe that the Lord lives within me, who was dead in Adam.
Therefore, distinguish between being raised from the grave and being raised from the dead.
The Lord Jesus Christ is resurrection and life (John 11:25). He is the Savior who raises us from death through his resurrection and gives us eternal life through his life.
Q. What is the way to righteousness?
“For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)
A. If you come to believe in your heart that Christ is Emmanuel, you will attain righteousness.
The proof of that righteousness is faith.
It is a belief that is believed, but it has nothing to do with external circumstances.
If you confess with your mouth, you will be saved, and the evidence of salvation is the confession.
The two-part chorus that the Holy Spirit confesses within me and I confess with my mouth is a confession.
However, when calling Christ Lord, you must confirm that you have become a servant before calling Him Lord.
We often say that we are servants of the Lord, but in reality, if Christ gives us salvation, we ourselves become servants of salvation who follow that salvation, so we are all servants of the Lord who receive salvation.
It is said that Roman soldiers carry shields and spears, follow orders, walk like robots, and die from arrows. They usually do farming, but when war breaks out, they become soldiers.
People who live and die according to orders like this are slaves and servants.
In fact, we have been called into Christ and have not even established the relationship between Lord and servant, and after saying “Lord, Lord,” for a long time, we become rigid and call the name of the Lord into the air.
Q. Why are those who call on the name of the Lord not put to shame?
“For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on him shall not be shamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.” (Romans 10:11-12)
A. Because those who call on the name of the Lord will become rich.
A famous pastor in the Korean church has long declared that Christ, who was rich, became poor so that we could become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)
However, he put great emphasis on material blessings, saying that the poor Jesus of Nazareth makes us rich.
Then, while trying to enrich himself, he ended up being sanctioned by the law.
Even now, in the sermons of pastors, they talk about richness as material things or quality of life, confusing people.
In most sermons, the word “blessing” is filled with the image of “prosperity.”
No, this richness is an existential element.
It is the glory of God. It's value of God.
Therefore, in order to believe, one must hear the Word (Leema).
It must not be a word written on paper, but a living word inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The reason a sermon can be said to be the word of God is because the word is delivered through the spirit of prophecy through the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, just as the Bible has the inspiration of the Holy Spirit when it is written, the inspiration to understand when reading it, and the inspiration to act, if you testify the words of Christ under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, people's ears will be opened and they will believe.
Only when the Word comes to us can we be justified by faith and not be put to shame.
God's way of salvation is too easy.
Those who are dead in Adam receive and eat the word of Christ and live. (John 5:25)
Is there any logic, method or formula for breathing?
Just breathe.
The only problem is the sermon that adds knowledge to knowledge and pleases people's ears with a bouquet of words collected here and there.
The word of Christ are spirit and life (John 6:63), so if you hear them, you will believe them.
This is faith.
If you don't want to breathe, you have to block your nose.
So it is easier to breathe than not to breathe.
If a person who has received Christ in Christ does not believe it, it is actually a miracle.
That is why Paul sighs and feels very upset, saying, ‘Even though the fact that Christ rose from the dead has been preached, why do you regard it as unbelievable?’ (1 Corinthians 15:12)
The problem is that no all can spread the word of Reema, the gospel of Immanuel, where Christ dwell in us, by telling people to believe only Jesus.
Through this faith, everything is accomplished: I was born again, I was justified, I accepted Christ as Lord, and the kingdom of God has come in me.
Paul explains why he will not be ashamed by saying ‘for’ (gar).
The righteousness of faith can never become servile.
The Greeks had an arrogant sense of superiority, and the Jews were a conquered people.
However, there is no discrimination in the righteousness of faith regardless of gender or age, rich or poor.
The righteousness of God through which Christ is present is the qualification that allows us to reach infinite richness.
What difference does it make if you add 10 billion to infinity or if it is just infinity?
In the past, we in Korea were also ignored a lot by Americans.
Even in theology, Korea was very poor compared to the United States.
(Even now, there are many pastors who consider the contents of the American pastor's book to be gold and silver...)
If Pastor Gil Seon-ju had not immediately accepted the gospel from American missionaries and had studied at the current Korean seminary, he would not have been able to start the Pyongyang revival movement.
However, the gospel, the word of Christ, the word of life, eliminates nationalism.
To be honest, I have no hesitation in speaking to Americans either.
I have taken their theological lectures and watched their YouTube videos closely, so I know their level well.
Only by making yourself global and universal through Christ can the gospel become global.
In verse 12, for (gar) appears again, and one Lord has become Lord of all.
God is someone who has no national or regional feelings.
We are the only ones who have these feelings.
Now, I have no rift whatsoever with denominations, various movements, or even people who are called heretics.
This is because everyone is called to be a child of God, but after the calling, some receive the Spirit of truth, call on the name of the Lord, and pray and spread their vision to the whole world with the riches of their being, others spend their whole lives clinging to the experience of God's calling, and by the time they die, they are suffering from overdue homework.
Q. How do you become rich?
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13)
A. It is to call on the name of the Lord as if pleading.
In fact, you can know the measure of a person's salvation by hearing his or her voice calling to the Lord.
The Lord gives richness to all who call on his name.
For (gar) those who petition and appeal in the name of the Lord get present salvation.
The difference between southern Judah and northern Israel is that southern Judah has a temple and calls on the name of Jehovah, but northern Israel does not have a temple, so it becomes a natural religious view.
That was the altar at Bethel. In the end, it failed.
They both failed, but they failed first.
Northern Israel became a vassal state of Assyria and Samaria became a despised land.
The handicap of these people was the temple in Jerusalem.
Whenever the word of temple comes up, they get discouraged.
Later, many synagogues were built and this changed into a church system.
However, the fact is that the church is the body of Christ and must have an organic relationship with his spirit and life, and should not just be a synagogue where only people gather.
If done incorrectly, the church can use all means and methods to attract people through organizations or systems.
The church is a gathering of people who earnestly call to the name of the Lord and experience salvation.
The purpose of the Holy Spirit’s coming is to enable people to believe in Christ as Lord and call on the name of the Lord to be saved (Acts 2:21).
If you can earnestly call and appeal, the God of salvation will surely deliver you.
The righteousness of faith saves our existence and ultimately saves us from our environment and circumstances.
If, through the atonement grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, one has died to sin and is alive to God through righteousness, one is hesitate to receiving salvation from God and the throne of the Lamb by calling on the name of the Lord, then how can one live eternity in that kingdom of God with the power of his mouths?
