Colored fruits and vegetables are high in antioxidants, and the report discovered that the alcohol increased the antioxidant nutrients in the fruit. Antioxidants are important for canceling the effects of free radical compounds, which damage cells in the body. Among colored fruits, the report cited strawberries as the optimal fruit for antioxidants. It is possible that a classroom full of Wi-Fi connected devices could create an "electronic smog", made up of electromagnetic radiation similar to that of cellular phones and telephone masts. Disturbing connections between this type of radiation with cancer and brain damage have been made in recent medical research. The British Professional Association of Teachers will demand an official investigation in a letter to the Secretary of State for Education.
