I was lonely in Gumi since moving here after my marriage about two

years ago. I eagerly tried to make friends by signing up for the piano lesson

in the instituition located very close to my apartment complex, casue i

<br>
thought there must be some wives in my neighborhood who were learning
<br>
<br>
to play the piano.
<br>
<br>
Once I went to the place where I could learn knitting, (뜨개방) where I
<br>
<br>
assume I would have a better chance of making new friends.
<br>
<br>
I got to know a newly-merried wife. At first I supposed I could make
<br>
<br>
friends with her cause she and I are newly-married and moved here from
<br>
<br>
other places. But later I found that she was not the type of person I could
<br>
<br>
get along with. Cause I don"t like her way of conversing with others.
<br>
<br>
She often asked me questions such as what kind of cars I own,
<br>
<br>
how large my apartment is, or where my husband works... I think she didn"t
<br>
<br>
give me ill-natured questions but her questions was maybe just out of her
<br>
<br>
curiosity.
<br>
<br>
However, I wanted to avoid seeing her. So I quit going to learn knitting.
<br>
<br>
Actually Knitting as a hobby was not to my taste, too.
<br>
<br>
Making friends was not easy for me. I am not good at associating with
<br>
<br>
new people. Besides I am kind of introvertive.
<br>
<br>
But with my baby it"s getting easier to make friends now.
<br>
<br>
Today I invited two friends who I got to know from the time when I was
<br>
<br>
pregnant. We are all moms.
<br>
<br>
Today I was excited having friends over to my apartment.
<br>
<br>
I put out cookies I made myself yesterday. And I served the pizza of my own
<br>
<br>
cooking. We just had a blast talking. We exchange information about raising
<br>
<br>
kids but also loves talking where we could get bagains and about matters
<br>
<br>
which are actually not our own businesses. You know women are a
<br>
<br>
chatter-box when more than three get together.
<br>
<br>
I was really pleased when one said my cookies were so tasty that she
<br>
<br>
thought that they were a foreign brand of cookies.
<br>
<br>
It has been a little more over 2 years since i settled down in Gumi.
<br>
<br>
Now I feel like I am becoming a Gumi person.
