• My role model is King Sejong because he made the biggest reasons why our country is today. His achievements include more than 40 achievements, which are made up of many different fields rather than the same ones, and they still affect modern times. Among his more than 40 achievements, he created the Hunminjeongeum (Korean alphabet), Anbuilgu (sundial), Yeokseongru (water clock), and Cheugi by inventing scientific instruments such as the creation of the Hunminjeongeum (Korean alphabet), compilation of agricultural theories, territorial expansion through the development of the fourth-tier 6th class, and the enactment of public law (tax system). The most famous Hunminjeongeum (Korean alphabet) creation was started to be made for reasons such as the Aemin spirit, which felt sorry for the situation in which people who did not know Chinese characters could not express their thoughts in writing, and the discrepancy of language, which caused inconvenience in real life because the Chinese characters did not match Korean. In the process, he created the Hunminjeongeum (Korean alphabet) creation with the help of figures such as Jeong In-ji, Shin Sook-ju, Seongsanmun, Choi Hang, Park Paeng-nyeon, Lee Sun-ro, Lee Sun-an, and the royal family, Princess Jeong Eui-jong, Suyangdaegun, Yangpyeongdaegun, and Buddhist monk Shinmi during the reign of the Crown Prince. Like this story, King Sejong left behind several achievements by trusting and actively using the talents of the people around him. What Sejong should learn from here is to trust the people around him, and to solve the problem by knowing the inconvenience and difficulties of others. For these reasons, my role model is King Sejong.
