Father God grants favor when we pray. He did so when Jacob prayed; God saw his faith and granted his desire.
Today’s passage shows that even an unjust judge grants requests, so how much more will God answer ours? Thus, we are encouraged to always pray—not with formalities, but with heartfelt cries day and night, truly believing that God will hear us as we ask, seek, and knock. Then, He will bring about justice for them quickly.
We may indeed be very busy, but it’s precisely at such times that praying is an act of faith. Prayer brings order to life; without it, both mind and body become restless and overwhelmed.
