All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient. (Romans 10:19-21)
If you only believe on Jesus, do not know Christ, and do not know that the Lord is the Son of God and the Word toward God, you will not be able to give any answer to the statement, like Nietzsche, that God is dead or does not exist.
If there is no new covenant in which Christ dwells in us and the Word, the source of creation, works in us, the forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and the kingdom of God are floating in the air.
If the Holy Spirit does not dwell within us, how can the function of the Old Testament temple become a reality and allow us to approach the throne of God's grace in the Holy Spirit and truth?
If we cannot become one body and one spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ, our Apostle and High Priest, and approach the throne, the word will not be mixing and salvation will become a promissory note.
If the kingdom of God does not come in you, how can his righteousness and peace and joy be revealed in you?
If the Spirit of truth does not dwell in him, there is no principle to be sanctified by the truth, to reach glory through sanctification, to become one with that glory, to achieve perfection, and to advance in love.(John 17)
That's why Christianity is now being treated in a shallow way, and there are even claims that the church is useless after the coronavirus.
Q. What is Moses’ prophecy?
“But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses said, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish people I will anger you.’” (Romans 10:19)
A. He prophesied that Israel would be angry because of the Gentiles’ faith. (Deuteronomy 32:21)
This means that it was predicted in advance that the gospel would be preached to Gentiles.
The writer of Hebrews states that Moses considered suffering humiliation for the sake of Christ a wealth greater than all the treasures of Egypt, and looked to the throne which is giving his reward. (Hebrews 11:26)
Because God's revelation is perspective-vision, as Anthony Hoekma said, we can see Christ, the reality to come, even by looking at the Old Testament law and temple.
Regarding this, the book of Hebrews says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1)
He said he saw and heard visions and it's kind of funny to say that he was the one who saw the reality.
Provoking jealousy means arousing competition between two people.
And the foolish people refer to the Gentiles who are ignorant of the law and the temple.
Isn't that right? Did we know what the lamb is?
We knew nothing about the altar of burnt offering, the Holiest of all, and their traditions.
After the Lord died on the cross and rose again, we, who were outsiders and strangers, became children of God and are invading heaven.
Just as Moses prophesied that he would provoke them to anger, the Jews are now being provoked by the Gentiles.
Q. What about Isaiah’s prophecy?
“But Isaiah is very bold, and say, ‘I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that ask not after me.’” (Romans 10:20)
A. Isaiah goes one step further than Moses in that God appears to the Gentiles.
Isaiah 65:1 "I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not; I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name, " (Romans 10:20)
God says, “Look for me here,” and reveals himself to the tagger first.
Where is God in the world? It's funny. Why do you make the top of the chapel so sharp that the Lord gets his butt stuck when he comes down?
To me, who found it amusing to laugh at and slander the church, he came to me with the gospel that he said I was already in you.
By comforting, holding, and persuading me for a long time, I am taught how great and amazing the love of the Lord is in dying on the cross and bringing me back to life.
I have never asked the Lord to die on the cross or to make me a temple where the Holy Spirit dwells.
The word come to me and as I listen to them, I believe in them.
The entire Bible is about saved people.
It was decided that you are a Jew.
This is the era, the spiritual Jews.
That is why it is said about Israel, “All day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and gainsaying people.” (Romans 10:21)
I don't know if you are a person of faith, but I was truly a bastard before God.
I questioned every single thing, challenged him, tested him, and complained.
I did not obey and talked back to God, ‘Give me faith, give me praise, show me, why is the church like this?’. Until I was convinced.
Will the message of the cross be effective for me? I would experiment with my body as an avatar. I would also conduct clinical trials for a long time to see if the life of the Lord working in me can save a dying person. I would constantly ask questions until I get confirmation.
Nevertheless, Isaiah had already prophesied 700 years before the Lord came to this earth about God waiting and enduring to the end for such human beings.
Although Israel did not see the words, we now see and understand the words.
So we say, 'But one day, when I was denying and complaining about the Lord, He came to me and touched me with His loving hand. I couldn't refuse, I couldn't turn away, so I held the Lord's hand. I ended up shedding hot tears because of the Lord's love.
I can't think of any better words to explain the Lord who made me who I am now through this song.
Even now, the Lord Jesus Christ does not withdraw his hand until the end, saying to those who speak against him, ‘I give eternal life’ (John 10:28), waiting for them to hear and follow his words.
Take a look at the Lord knocking outside the door in Revelation 3:20.
From the time the Bible was given to us until the end, the Lord never gives up and knocks on our door.
