<p>When Jesus told Zaccheus He would stay at his house, “Zaccheus received Him greatly.”  Few people in the Bible are noted to have “gladly received” Jesus into their homes.</p><p> </p><p>Although Zaccheus, the tax collector, was scorned by others, he listened to Jesus and acted on His words. This action brings personal transformation and the power to win people over.</p><p> </p><p>When Jesus said that Zaccheus is a “son of Abraham,” it was not about ancestral lineage.
