대통령 직속 국민통합위원회 차기 위원장으로 김부겸 전 총리가 내정된 것으로 15일 알려졌다. 대통령과 정부·여당에 쓴소리를 하다 사실상 경질된 이석연 전 위원장의 후임이다.

김 전 총리 측 관계자는 이날 “국민통합위원장 자리를 맡아달라는 제안을 받고 김 전 총리가 고심 끝에 수락하기로 결정했다”며 “정부가 어려운 시기에 거절하기가 어려웠다”고 했다.
