The way to dress is a good indicator for his or her personality and characteristic.

Over the past a few decades, it has been generally argued about whether people can know one's personality through his or her fashion. Some people might believe that one's clothing is the best indicator of his or her characteristic; nevertheless, other people might disagree with it. However, I am convinced that people can never understand one's personality by looking at his or her personality. Actually, I have a couple of reasons for my assertion. I will clearly show and develop why I maintain my insistence as specifically as I can in the next following paragraphs: showing only a small part of one's characteristic and some people uninterested in fashion.

To begin with, one's clothing shows only a fraction of his or her characteristic. People usually want to appear as their own desired image by wearing clothes in particular styles, so clothing tells merely certain aspect of a person that he or she wants to emphasize about himself or herself. Therefore, if people are convinced that they can appreciate one's characteristic by looking at the way he or she dresses, they would fail to apprehend the overall personality of the person. On the other hand, if they have a conversation with a person for a long time in order to know his or her characteristic, they could achieve the goal. To tell one of my stories as an example, when I was a freshman in my high school, one of girls in my class did not wear a school uniform; instead, she were always in a colorful T-shirt and short pants. At first, I thought that she was deviant student and assumed that she would not be very interested in study. Yet, spending about a year with her as a classmate, I realized that she was a diligent and outstanding student. In fact, she did not wear a school uniform because she did not want for her classmates to believe that she was a boring students only intersted in study. If I had not spent much time with her and judged her only by her clothing, I could not have known her actual personality.

Moreover, a number of people are too indifferent in fashion for others to detect their personalities through their clothes. Although some people might say that looking at one's fashion is the most effective way to measure his or her characteristic in short time. Nonethless, it does not take a genius to know that sometimes, people cannot obtain any hints about a person's personality through his or her clothes, since the person does not care about his or her clothing. For instance, Steve Jobs, previous owner of Apple company, always wore the same clothes in front of the public. Thus, people was not able to understand his personality only by looking at his clothing. Indeed, KSC, Korean Statistical Center in South Korea conducted a survey on 1000 students attending Seoul National University pertaining to whether people can comprehend one's cha racteristic through his or her clothes. Interestingly, about more than 80 percent of them replied that they cannot acquire any information about a person's personality if the person has no interst in fashion and always wear the same clothes. This clearly shows that the characteristics of people wearing the same clothes everyday cannot be known by looking at their clothing.

To summarize the points made in the paragraphs above, clothing cannot explain the entire characteristic of people. In addition, clothes tell nothing about one's characteristic if the person is indifferent about fashion. In light of these reasons, I concretely believe that people cannot say that they can apprehend one's personality when looking at his or her fashion.

괜찮은 문장이다...그러나 좀더 자신의 의지나 표현을 명확히 해줄 필요가 있겠다...예를들면 people보다는 most people로 또한 always보다는 typically or intentionally라든지...
Most people typically express what they want to appear to be through wearing a certain type of clothes, so only through this it can not be good enough to know what kinds of characters they have exactly...

항상 문장은 글쓴이의 의도와 부합해야 하는데 그러기위해선 무리수를 둔 어려운 표현이나 시도 보다는 자신이 더 쉽고 간결하게 표현할 수 있는것을 택하는 것이 좋겠다...
