제목 : 침묵하시는 하나님을 신뢰하십시오

“마귀의 간계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라.”

“나사로가 병들었다 함을 들으시고 그 계시던 곳에 이틀을 더 유하시고”

   하나님께서 침묵하시는 것처럼 느껴지는 순간이 있습니다. 간절히 기도해도 응답이 더디고, 상황은 나아지지 않으며, 왜 이런 일이 일어나는지 이해할 수 없을 때가 있습니다. 그러나 하나님의 침묵이 하나님의 부재를 의미하는 것은 아닙니다. 우리가 이해하지 못하는 시간에도 하나님은 자신의 위대한 목적을 향해 우리를 인도하고 계십니다.
   예수님께서는 나사로가 병들었다는 소식을 들으시고도 계시던 곳에서 이틀을 더 머무셨습니다. 사랑하는 사람의 아픔 앞에서 주님이 즉시 행동하지 않으신 것처럼 보였지만, 그 지체에는 하나님의 영광을 나타내시려는 더 큰 목적이 있었습니다. 사람의 눈에는 늦어 보이는 시간도 하나님의 계획 안에서는 결코 헛되지 않습니다.
   그러므로 기다림의 시간에 더욱 필요한 것은 상황을 통제하려는 조급함이 아니라 하나님을 신뢰하는 믿음입니다. 마귀는 우리의 기다림을 의심으로 바꾸고, 하나님의 사랑을 불신하게 하며, 결국 믿음의 자리에서 물러나게 하려 합니다. 그러나 성도는 자신의 감정과 눈앞의 상황에만 의지하지 않고 하나님의 말씀 위에 굳게 서야 합니다. 이것이 하나님의 전신갑주를 입고 마귀의 간계를 대적하는 삶입니다.
   오늘도 하나님께서 침묵하시는 것처럼 느껴진다면 낙심하지 마십시오. 응답이 더디다고 사랑이 사라진 것이 아니며, 길이 보이지 않는다고 하나님께서 일하지 않으시는 것도 아닙니다. 하나님의 때와 방법을 신뢰하며 말씀과 기도로 자신을 무장하십시오. 주님께서 이루실 일을 기다리는 그 시간에도 하나님은 우리를 붙드시고, 마침내 그분의 선하신 뜻을 나타내실 것입니다.

<오늘의 묵상과 결단>

  하나님의 침묵 앞에서 믿음이 흔들리고 있습니까? 눈에 보이는 상황보다 하나님의 말씀을 더 굳게 붙드십시오. 기다림은 하나님께 버림받았다는 증거가 아니라, 하나님의 때를 신뢰하며 믿음으로 서야 하는 시간입니다. 오늘도 하나님의 전신갑주를 입고 기도와 말씀으로 무장하여, 주님의 선하신 뜻을 끝까지 신뢰하는 성도가 되기를 바랍니다.

주제 : Trust God When He Seems Silent

Today's Scripture | Ephesians 6:11 (NIV)
 “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” 
Related Scripture | John 11:6 (NIV)
“So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days.” 

  There are moments when God seems silent. We pray earnestly, yet the answer does not come. Our circumstances do not improve, and we struggle to understand why things are happening as they are. But God’s silence does not mean His absence. Even when we cannot understand what He is doing, He is still leading us toward His greater purpose.
When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, He remained where He was for two more days.   It may have seemed that Jesus was delaying His response to the suffering of those He loved. Yet His timing served a greater purpose: to reveal the glory of God. What appears late in our eyes is never outside God’s sovereign plan.
  Therefore, what we need most in seasons of waiting is not the anxious desire to control our circumstances, but the faith to trust God. The enemy seeks to turn our waiting into doubt, to make us question God’s love, and ultimately to lead us away from standing firm in faith. But believers must not rely solely on their feelings or what they see before them. We are called to stand firmly on God’s Word. This is what it means to put on the full armor of God and resist the schemes of the devil.
  If God seems silent today, do not lose heart. A delayed answer does not mean His love has disappeared, and an unseen path does not mean He has stopped working. Clothe yourself with God’s Word and prayer as you trust His timing and His ways. Even as you wait for the Lord to fulfill His purposes, He is sustaining you and will accomplish His good will.

<Today's Reflection and Commitment>
  Is your faith wavering because God seems silent? Hold firmly to His Word rather than judging everything by what you see. Waiting is not proof that God has abandoned you; it is a time to stand firm in faith and trust His perfect timing. Today, put on the full armor of God, strengthen yourself through prayer and Scripture, and remain steadfast in trusting His good and sovereign purpose.
