<p>They used the temple according to their own thoughts. They had no interest in the Kingdom of God and used the temple for their own purposes, taking possession of what belongs to God. Jesus declared that the temple, adorned only with outward appearances they liked, would be completely destroyed.</p><p> </p><p>What pleases Jesus is a church that cannot be shaken. A church built on the Word, like one established on the rock, will not fall. What delights Jesus is the unshakable holy people of God.
