† What should we do, when God say No!†

Brothers & sister, i am very sure that everyone of us know the road signs. Red, Yellow and green.

When there is Red, every one knows that we’ve to stop. Cause accident can happen. And when there is yellow we’ve to be ready to go but not to go. Am I right? But when there is green light. We can move without any fear. Same things happen in our daily lives. Sometimes we pray & pray but God shows Red light. Fiends, God shows us red light or God do not answer our prayers.

Cause God has a better plan for us. Friends, if God do not answer, don’t grumble. Cause He has the better plan for our lives. Just praise God and pray continually and fulfill His will not your’s.

Psalms 119 : 71 ~ 73

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. - The law from Your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. - Your hands made

me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.

Today, I want to share with you few personalities of the Holy Bible. God showed them the Red light. Those personalities. Just trust God & obeyed God’s will. What we’ve to do if God show us Red light?

1. Moses' s response.

Moses God saved Him from the water and used him to lead His people Israelites towards the promised land. Forty years Moses spent in king Pharaoh’s palace. Next forty years he spent in wilderness. There, God chose him to lead the nation Israelites towards promised land. God told to strike the rock once but Moses temper got high & he stroke the rock twice & that was his mistake.

Deuteronomy 32 : 51 ~ 52

This is because both of you broke faith with Me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters

of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold My holiness

among the Israelites. Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance;

you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”

Brothers and sisters, both brother Moses and Aron were unable to enter in the promised land. Here is wonderful thing what we can learn from Moses life. He never grumbled or complain. He obeyed God’s words joyfully. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Friends, if God say No to us what should be our response?

1st. Peter 5 : 6 ~ 7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift

you up in due time. - Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

2. David's response.

David called by God or he was anointed by prophet Samuel to be the king of Israel, when he was about 15 years old. David suffered about 15 years to be the king or sat on the thrown of Israel.

1st. Samuel 16 : 13

So Samuel took the horn of oil & anointed him in the presence of his brothers, & from

that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.

David suffered a lot. David suffered from his own father in law king Saul. Saul want to kill him & his own son dishonoured him. David never revenge or used any bad schemes for them. He just prayed for them.

1st. Samuel 19 : 1

Saul told his son Jonathan & all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan had taken a great liking to David.

2nd Samuel 16 : 22

So they pitched a tent for Absalom on the roof, & he slept with his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.

David never made plan to kill his son of father in law. He only prayed. David never complained.

David planned to built the house of the Lord (Temple) but God did not allowed him to built

David gave thanks in all circumstances. ~ Friends, if God say No to us what should be our response?

Psalms 118 : 1 & 5

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love endures forever. -- When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;

He brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

3. Apostle Paul's response.

Paul was the an anti Christ. He was the one who arrest followers and hurt them. He was also happy when deacon Stephen was stoned. But God changed him and his hardship started.

Acts 8 : 3

But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men & women & put them in prison.

God changed him upside down. Jesus revealed Himself on the way to Damascus & changed Him.

Paul suffered a lot to preach Jesus as Saviour & Son of living God. Even though he was near to die. He never complain. He just gave thanks. Paul want to preach in Asia but God sent him Europe.

2nd. Corinthians 11 : 24 ~ 27

Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night & a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move.

I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; & in danger from false believers. I have labored & toiled & have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger & thirst & have often gone without food; I have been cold & naked.

Paul never complain or grumble. He only gave thanks. Friends, if God say No to us what should our response?

1st. Thessalonians 5 : 116 ~ 18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

4. John the baptist's response.

John the baptist the cousin of Jesus. He baptized Jesus. He never appreciated himself but he appreciated and praised Jesus Christ. John the baptist decreased himself and he raised Jesus.

John 3 : 30 ~~~ He must become greater; I must become less.”

Jesus must appear through our lives. Be the real Christian. Friends, if God say No to us what should our response?

5. Response of the Jesus Christ, the Son of living God.

Our Saviour Jesus the Son of God came to save all the lost humanity. Being a human being Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus prayed not once or twice. Jesus prayed three times with a same topic. Father please remove this cup from Me but not My will Your will may be done.

Matthew 26 : 39

Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, “My Father,

if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”

How about you and me? When we pray, we never say, Father do what you want. We pray in this way. Father we need this, this, this & that. Thanks in Jesus we pray. We just inform God. What we need & ask Him to provide. Friends, it’s informing pray not requesting pray. --- Jesus taught us.

Matthew 6 : 9 ~ 11

“This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, - Your

kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. - Give us today our daily bread.

Jesus taught to fulfill Father’s will & ask daily bread only. Friends, if God say No to us what should our response?

Conclusion :-

Conclusion of message is we don’t have to complain or grumble jus praise & thanks God. ~ Amen

In our sickness, defeatism, joblessness situation, visa failures, family problems just give thanks not complain.

하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 어떻게 해야 할까요?

신호등이 빨강, 노랑, 초록이라는 것을 우리 모두 안다고 믿습니다. 빨간 불일 때 멈추어야 함을 모든 사람이 압니다. 사고가 일어날 수 있기 때문입니다. 노란 불일 때 준비하지만 가지 않습니다. 그렇죠? 하지만 초록 불일 때 우리는 두려워하지 않고 움직일 수 있습니다. 같은 일이 우리 일상에서도 일어납니다. 때때로 우리가 기도하고 기도하지만 하나님은 빨간 불을 보여주십니다. 하나님께서 빨간 불을 보여주시거나 우리의 기도에 응답하지 않으십니 다. 하나님께서 우리를 위해 더 좋은 계획을 갖고 계시기 때문입니다. 하나님께서 응답하지 않으실 때 불평하지 마십시오. 그분께서 우리 삶에 더 좋은 계획을 갖고 계시기 때문입니다. 오직 하나님을 찬양하고 끊임없이 기도하며 우리의 뜻이 아닌 그분의 뜻을 행하십시오.

시편 119 : 71 ~ 73

고난 당한 것이 내게 유익이라 이로 인하여 내가 주의 율례를 배우게 되었나이다 주의 입의

법이 내게는 천천 금은보다 승하니이다 주의 손이 나를 만들고 세우셨사오니

나로 깨닫게 하사 주의 계명을 배우게 하소서.

오늘 성경의 몇몇 인물을 여러분과 나누고자 합니다. 하나님께서 그들에게 빨간불을 보여주셨습니다.

그들은 오직 하나님을 신뢰하고 하나님의 뜻에 순종했습니다.

하나님께서 빨간 불을 보여주실 때 우리는 어떻게 해야 할까요?

1. 모세의 반응.

하나님은 모세를 물에서 건지셨고 그분의 백성인 이스라엘 자손을 약속의 땅으로 인도하는데 사용하셨습니다. 모세는 40년 동안 바로왕의 궁전에서 보냈습니다. 그 다음 40년 동안 그는 광야에서 보냈습니다. 거기에서 하나님은 이스라엘 백성을 약속의 땅으로 인도하도록 그를 택하셨습니다. 하나님께서 바위를 한번 치라고 말씀하셨지만 모세는 몹시 화가 나서 바위를 두 번 쳤고 그것이 그의 잘못이었습니다.

신명기 32 : 51 ~ 52

이는 너희가 신 광야 가데스의 므리바 물가에서 이스라엘 자손 중 내게 범죄하여 나의 거룩함을

이스라엘 자손 중에서 나타내지 아니한 연고라 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 땅을

네가 바라보기는 하려니와 그리로 들어가지는 못하리라 하시니라.

모세와 아론 두 형제는 약속의 땅으로 들어갈 수 없었습니다. 모세의 삶으로부터 우리가 배울 수 있는 대단한 것이 있습니다. 그는 결코 투덜대거나 불평하지 않았습니다. 그는 하나님의 뜻에 기쁘게 순종했습니다. 하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 우리의 반응은 무엇이어야 할까요?

베드로전서 5 : 6 ~ 7

그러므로 하나님의 능하신 손 아래서 겸손하라 때가 되면 너희를 높이시리라

저희 염려를 다 주께 맡겨 버리라 이는 저가 너희를 권고하심이니라.

2. 다윗의 반응.

다윗은 15세 정도에 하나님께 부름받았고 이스라엘의 왕이 되도록 선지자 사무엘에 의해 기름부음 받았습니다. 그는 왕이 되어 이스라엘의 왕좌에 앉기 위해 15년 동안 고통을 겪었습니다.

사무엘상 16 : 13

사무엘이 기름 뿔을 취하여 그 형제 중에서 그에게 부었더니 이 날 이후로

다윗이 여호와의 신에게 크게 감동되니라 사무엘이 떠나서 라마로 가니라.

다윗은 많은 고난을 당했습니다. 그는 장인인 사울 왕으로부터 고통을 당했습니다. 사울 왕은 그를 죽이려고 했고 그의 아들은 그에게 굴욕을 주었습니다. 그는 결코 복수하거나 그들에게 악한 계략을 사용하지 않았습니다. 그는 오직 그들을 위해 기도했습니다.

사무엘상 19 : 1

사울이 그 아들 요나단과 그 모든 신하에게 다윗을 죽이라

말하였더니 사울의 아들 요나단이 다윗을 심히 기뻐하므로.

사무엘하 16 : 22 ~~ 이에 사람들이 압살롬을 위하여 지붕에 장막을 치니 압살롬이

온 이스라엘 무리의 눈앞에서 그 부친의 후궁들로 더불어 동침하니라.

다윗은 장인의 아들을 죽이려는 계획을 세우지 않았습니다. 그는 오직 기도했습니다. 그는 불평하지 않았습니다. 그는 모든 상황에서 감사했습니다. 하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 우리의 반응은 무엇이어야 할까요?

시편 118 : 1, 5 ~ 6

여호와께 감사하라 저는 선하시며 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다 ~ 내가 고통 중에 여호와께 부르짖었더니 여호와께서 응답하시고 나를 광활한 곳에 세우셨도다 여호와는 내편이시라 내게 두려움이 없나니 사람이 내게 어찌할꼬.

3. 사도 바울의 반응.

바울은 그리스도를 대적하는 사람이었습니다. 그는 신자들을 체포하고 해치는 사람이었습니다. 그는 스데반 집사가 돌에 맞을 때 기뻐했습니다. 하지만 하나님께서 그를 변화시키셨고 그의 고난이 시작되었습니다.

사도행전 8 : 3

사울이 교회를 잔멸할새 각 집에 들어가 남녀를 끌어다가 옥에 넘기니라.

하나님은 뒤집히도록 그를 변화시키셨습니다. 다메섹으로 가는 도중에 예수께서 나타나셔서 그를 바꾸셨습니다. 바울은 예수를 구세주와 살아계신 하나님의 아들로 전하는데 많은 고난을 겪었습니다. 거의 죽을 지경임에도 불구하고 그는 감사했습니다.

바울은 아시아에서 전도하고자 했으나 하나님은 그를 유럽으로 보내셨습니다.

고린도후서 11 :24 ~ 27

유대인들에게 사십에 하나 감한 매를 다섯 번 맞았으며 세 번 태장으로 맞고 한번 돌로 맞고 세 번 파선하는데 일주야를 깊음에서 지냈으며 여러번 여행에 강의 위험과 강도의 위험과 동족의 위험과 이방인의 위험과 시내의 위험과 광야의 위험과 바다의 위험과 거짓 형제 중의 위험을 당하고 또 수고하며 애쓰고 여러번 자지 못하고 주리며 목마르고 여러번 굶고 춥고 헐벗었노라.

바울은 불평하거나 투덜대지 않았습니다. 오직 감사했습니다.

하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 우리의 반응은 무엇이어야 할까요?

데살로니가전서 5 : 16 ~ 18

항상 기뻐하라 쉬지 말고 기도하라 범사에 감사하라 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이니라.

4. 세례 요한의 반응.

세례 요한은 예수님의 사촌입니다. 그는 예수께 세례를 주었습니다. 그는 자신을 드러내지 않고 예수 그리스도를 인정하고 찬양했습니다. 세례 요한은 자신을 낮추고 예수를 높혔습니다.

요한복음 3 : 30 ~~~~ 그는 흥하여야 하겠고 나는 쇠하여야 하리라 하니라

우리 삶을 통해 예수가 나타나야 합니다. 진정한 크리스천이 되십시오.

하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 우리의 반응은 무엇이어야 할까요?

5. 살아계신 하나님의 아들, 예수 그리스도.

하나님의 아들, 우리의 구세주 예수님은 모든 잃어버린 인류를 구원하시기 위해 오셨습니다. 사람으로서 예수님은 겟세마네 동산에서 기도하셨습니다. 예수님은 한번이나 두 번이 아니라 같은 제목으로 세 번 기도하셨습니다. 아버지, 이 잔을 저에게서 치워주십시오. 하지만 저의 뜻이 아니라 당신의 뜻이 이루어지기 원합니다.

마태복음 26 : 39

조금 나아가사 얼굴을 땅에 대시고 엎드려 기도하여 가라사대 내 아버지여 만일 할만하시거든 이

잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서 그러나 나의 원대로 마옵시고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서 하시고.

여러분과 저는 어떻습니까? 우리는 기도할 때 아버지 당신이 원하시는 것을 행하시라고 말하지 않습니다. 우리는 이렇게 기도합니다. ‘이것, 이것, 이것과 저것이 필요합니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.’

단지 우리가 필요한 것을 하나님께 알리고 공급해 달라고 그분께 요구합니다. 이것은 요청하는 기도가 아니라 알리는 기도입니다. 예수께서 우리에게 가르치셨습니다.

마태복음 6 : 9 ~ 11

그러므로 너희는 이렇게 기도하라 하늘에 계신 우리 아버지여 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며 나라이 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다 오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고.

예수님은 아버지의 뜻을 행하고 일용할 양식을 구하라고 가르치셨습니다.

하나님께서 ‘No’라고 말씀하실 때 우리의 반응은 무엇이어야 할까요?
