하룻밤을 기차로 달리고 버스를 갈아타서 쉬라바스티에 있는 한국사찰 천축선원에 도착했다.
대인스님과 열달만에 재회다.

I rode a train for a whole night.  I transferred to bus, and arrived at Korean temple in Shravasti.

I met Daein monk in 10 months.

함께 찍은 분들은 오래전부터 이 절집에 오시는 한국의 보살님들.

점심 공양을 한후 워밍업으로 10km쯤 걷기로 했다.

The people in the picture are Buddhists who belong to this Korean temple.

After eating lunch, I decided to walk about 10 km for a waming-up.

인도다운 이 거리가 정겹다.

I feel friendly to see this Indian street.

오는 도중에 만난 어느 동네의 인도인들.

I met some Indians on the way back. 

아이들은 호기심이 많다.

Children are very curious, everywhere.

지나면서 보이는 가톨릭계통의 학교

I saw a school which looked like a Catholic institution.

지금이 한창 사탕수수 수확철이다.

It is a good season for harvesting sugar cane. 

어느 초등학교 앞을 지나치다가 팜플렛을 주니 곧바로 전달받은 교장선생님으로부터 초청의사가 전해져왔다.

While I passed by a primary school, I sended out pamphlets. 

The principal who read the pamphlet invited me immediately to come to school. 

마침 마당수업중이다.

대형지도를 펼쳐놓고 곧바로 설명.
영어에 능숙한 선생이 있어서 상세히 통역해준다.

The class was going on at the playground.

I spread large map and explained about Silk Road.

A teacher translated my explanation in detail with fluent English.

몸이 굽은 상태에서 함께 사진을 찍었다.

The principal was not good in his condition.

Nevertheless, he took a picture with me. 

다시 길을 가다가 경찰과도 한 컷.

I took a picture with a policeman on the way.

또다른 초등힉교를 만났다.

I visited another primary school.

즉석에서 설명하고 기념촬영.

The event was going on, and I made a speech on the spot again.

첫날부터 대박이다.

It was a bonanza from the first day.

9km 지점에서 차량으로 다시 절집으로 돌아온 후
저녁시간에 지역의 언론사에서 찾아왔다.

At the place 9 km apart, I came back to Korean temple by bus.

In the evening, a local reporter called on me.  

절집의 다실에서 스님과 기자일행과 함께.

I had a conversation with the reporters and the monk, at tea-room in Korean temple.
