<p style="text-align: start;">The FBI says it's discovered 2,000 records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.</p><p style="text-align: start;">That's as the federal agencies work to comply with President Donald Trump's executive order to release thousands of classified files.</p><p style="text-align: start;">The FBI said that it's working to transfer the documents to the National Archives and Records Administration to be included in the declassification process.</p><p style="text-align: start;">In the early 1990s, the federal government mandated that all documents related to November 22, 1963 assassination in Dallas be housed in a single collection at the National Archives.</p><p style="text-align: start;">The majority of the collection has been released.</p><p style="text-align: start;">I'm Haya Panjwani.</p>
