121. 인간의 완성-The perfection of an individual

-매일 아침 훈독 말씀 121-

<인간의 완성>

인간의 완성은 지식이나 권력, 혹은 돈에 의해서 이루어지는 것이 아니라

사랑에 의해서 이루어지는 것입니다.

그 사랑은 속화된 사랑이 아닌 본래의 사랑이며, 그 사랑에 의해 모든 것이 완성됩니다.

우리들은 시각, 청각, 미각, 촉각, 후각 등의 오관을 갖고 있습니다.

그 오관은 사랑의 완성이라는 기준에서부터 움직임이 시작되어야 합니다.

오관은 완성된 사랑을 중심으로 그 기능을 발휘해야 합니다.

눈이라든가 귀, 코, 입, 손 등에서 느껴지는 모든 감각은

사랑을 중심으로 완성되어야 한다고 보아야 합니다.

그와 같이 사랑을 중심으로 오관이 하나되어 상대세계를 느끼는 것이

이상적인 것이라고 생각할 수 있습니다.

한마디로 표현하면 취해 사는 것입니다.

사랑에 의해 상대세계에 동화되어 그 자신이 환경에 취해 버리는 경지를 말합니다.

그 경지에서는 반드시 혼자가 아니라 상대가 있어서 영원히 계속해서 서로 동화합니다.

그 상대는 언제나 다를 수 있고, 또 느낌도 다릅니다.

확대하면 무한히 확대되고 축소를 하면 한 점에 뭉쳐지는 힘을 지니고 있는 것이 참사랑입니다.

천상적인 사랑입니다.

사랑의 눈을 통해서 보면 작거나 크거나 하나입니다.

작으면 가치를 축소한 것이며 큰 것은 확대한 것입니다.

이와 같은 사랑의 세계를 창조하고 싶으셨던 것이 하나님의 이상이었습니다.

<인간의 완성-The perfection of an individual>

The perfection of an individual is not realized through knowledge, power or money.

It is realized through love—not earthly love, but the original love.

Through this love, everything can be perfected.

We all have the senses of sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell.

These five senses should work centering on perfect love.

We must think that the sensations which our eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, and so forth, experience

should be perfected centering on love.

Similarly, we can say that when our five senses unite centering on love,

then the feelings we receive from the world are the ideal feelings,

which means, in short, to be intoxicated.

This is the state of being harmonized with the world through love

and being intoxicated with joy by the environment.

In that state, a person is not alone.

There has to be a reciprocal partner with whom to continue in harmony eternally.

That partner can always be different,

and the feelings coming from the partner would also always be different.

True love is something that has the power to become endlessly big when it is enlarged

and to converge into one point when it is diminished.

It is a heavenly love.

When we look with an eye of love, anything big or small is always one.

Small things are diminished values, and big things are enlarged values.

The desire to create a world of this love was indeed the ideal of God.
