MY role model is James Cook

My dream is to work in the maritime field. To achieve this dream, I have chosen James Cook as my role model.

James Cook is one of the greatest navigators in history. He was a British explorer who made important voyages across the Pacific Ocean in the 18th century.

He is famous for his detailed maps and discoveries. Through his journeys, he explored many unknown regions and greatly contributed to navigation and geography.

I want to learn from him. Like James Cook, I want to challenge new environments and not be afraid of the unknown. Also, I want to develop strong skills and continue to improve myself.

James Cook was born in 1728 in England. He started his career as a sailor and later joined the Royal Navy in 1755.

In 1768, he led his first major expedition to the Pacific Ocean. During his voyages, he mapped places such as New Zealand and the east coast of Australia.

In 1770, he reached Australia and recorded it in detail. His accurate maps helped future sailors travel more safely.

He died in 1779 during his third voyage, but his explorations greatly expanded human knowledge.

One of his greatest strengths is his courage and curiosity. He explored the world and led the development of navigation.

I admire James Cook because he explored unknown places and made great contributions to history. His passion and determination motivate me.

In the future, I want to work in the maritime field like him and contribute to the development of ocean exploration.
