[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 사무엘하19장

1. 어떤 이가 요압에게 고하되, 보소서, 왕이 압살롬으로 인하여 슬피 울며 애곡하시나이다, 하니

And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.

2. 왕이 자기 아들로 인하여 근심한다 함을 그 날에 백성이 들었으므로 그 날의 승리가 온 백성에게 애곡하는 일이

    되었더라.

And the victory that day was [turned] into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son. 

3. 그 날에 백성이 싸움에서 도망칠 때에 부끄러워하며 몰래 떠나는 것 같이 슬그머니 도시로 들어가니라.

And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.

4. 그러나 왕이 얼굴을 덮고 큰 소리로 외치되, 오 내 아들 압살롬아, 오 압살롬아, 내 아들아, 내 아들아! 하매

But the king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!

5. 요압이 집에 들어가서 왕께 나아가 아뢰되, 왕께서 이 날 왕의 생명과 왕의 아들딸들의 생명과 왕의 처첩들의 생명을

    구원한 왕의 모든 신하의 얼굴을 부끄럽게 하셨사오니

And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;

6.왕께서 왕의 원수들은 사랑하시나 왕의 친구들은 미워하니 통치자들과 신하들을 존중히 여기지 아니하시는 것을 이 날 밝히 드러냈나이다. 이 날 내가 깨달은즉 만일 압살롬이 살고 이 날 우리가 다 죽었더라면 왕이 기뻐하셨으리이다.

In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well. 

7. 그러므로 이제 곧 일어나 나가서 왕의 신하들에게 위로의 말씀을 하옵소서. 내가 {주}를 두고 맹세하옵나니 왕이

    만일 나가지 아니하시면 이 밤에 한 사람도 왕과 함께 머물지 아니하리이다. 그리하면 그것이 왕이 젊었을 때부터

    지금까지 당한 모든 화보다 왕에게 더 나쁘리이다, 하니

Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now. 

8. 이에 왕이 일어나서 성문에 앉으매 그들이 온 백성에게 고하여 이르되, 보라, 왕이 성문에 앉아 계신다, 하니

    온 백성이 왕 앞으로 나아오니라. 이스라엘은 이미 각각 자기 장막으로 도망하였더라.

Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.

9. 이스라엘의 모든 지파에서 두루 온 백성이 논쟁하여 이르되, 왕이 우리를 우리의 원수들의 손에서 구원하셨고 또

    우리를 블레셋 사람들의 손에서 건져 내셨으나 이제 압살롬으로 인해 이 땅에서 도피하셨도다.

And all the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The king saved us out of the hand of our enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he is fled out of the land for Absalom.

10. 우리가 기름을 부어 우리를 다스리게 한 압살롬은 싸움에서 죽었으니 그런즉 이제 너희가 어찌하여 왕을 도로 모셔

      올 일에 관해 한 마디도 하지 아니하느냐? 하니라.

And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the king back? 

11. 다윗 왕이 사독과 아비아달 제사장들에게 사람을 보내어 이르되, 유다의 장로들에게 말하여 이르기를,

      온 이스라엘의 말이 왕에게 이르고 왕의 집에까지 이른 것을 보거늘 너희가 어찌하여 왕을 왕의 집으로 도로 모셔

      오는 일에서 나중이 되려 하느냐?

And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, [even] to his house.

12. 너희는 내 형제요, 내 골육이거늘 어찌하여 왕을 도로 모셔 오는 일에서 나중이 되려 하느냐? 하고

Ye [are] my brethren, ye [are] my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back the king?

13. 너희는 또 아마사에게 말하기를, 너는 내 골육이 아니냐? 네가 요압을 대신하여 항상 내 앞에서 군대 대장이 되지

      아니하면 [하나님]께서 내게 벌을 내리시고 더 내리시기를 바라노라, 하라, 하니라.

And say ye to Amasa, [Art] thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

14. 그가 유다의 모든 사람들의 마음을 한 사람의 마음같이 돌리매 그들이 왕에게 이 말을 보내어 이르되, 왕과 왕의

      모든 신하들은 돌아오소서, 하므로

And he bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as [the heart of] one man; so that they sent [this word] unto the king, Return thou, and all thy servants.

15. 이에 왕이 돌아와서 요르단에 이르매 유다가 왕을 맞이하여 요르단을 건너도록 안내하려고 길갈로 오니라.

So the king returned, and came to Jordan. And Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to conduct the king over Jordan.

16. 바후림에 있던 베냐민 족속 게라의 아들 시므이가 급히 유다 사람들과 함께 다윗 왕을 맞으려 내려올 때에

And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which [was] of Bahurim, hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David.

17. 베냐민 사람 천 명이 그와 함께하고 사울의 집의 종 시바도 자기 아들 열다섯 명과 종 스무 명과 함께 요르단을

      지나 왕 앞으로 나아오니라.

And [there were] a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king.

18.왕의 집안사람들을 건너가게 하며 또 왕이 선하게 여기는 것을 행하게 하려고 나룻배가 건너가니라. 왕이 요르단을

     건너려 할 때에 게라의 아들 시므이가 왕 앞에 엎드려

And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the kings household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan; 

19. 왕께 이르되, 내 주께서는 불법을 내게로 돌리지 마옵소서. 또 내 주 왕께서 예루살렘에서 나오시던 날에 왕의 종이

      그릇되게 행한 것을 기억하지 마시오며 마음에 두지 마옵소서.

And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

20. 내가 죄를 지은 줄을 왕의 종이 아나이다. 그러므로, 보소서, 이 날 요셉의 온 집에서 내가 가장 먼저 와서 내려가

      내 주 왕을 맞이하나이다, 하였으나

For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.

21. 스루야의 아들 아비새가 응답하여 이르되, 시므이가 {주}의 기름 부으신 자를 저주하였으니 이 일로 인해 그가

      죽어야 마땅하지 아니하니이까? 하매

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORDS anointed?

22. 다윗이 이르되, 너희 스루야의 아들들아, 내가 너희와 무슨 상관이 있기에 너희가 이 날 나의 대적이 되려 하느냐?

      이 날 이스라엘 안에서 사람을 죽여야 하겠느냐? 내가 이 날 이스라엘을 다스릴 왕이 된 것을 내가 알지 못하느냐?

      하고

And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I [am] this day king over Israel?

23. 그런 까닭에 왕이 시므이에게 이르되, 네가 죽지 아니하리라, 하고 그에게 맹세하니라.

Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.

24. 사울의 손자 므비보셋이 내려와서 왕을 맞으니 그는 왕이 떠난 날부터 다시 평안히 돌아오는 날까지 발을 치장하지

      아니하고 수염을 깎지 아니하며 옷을 빨지 아니하였더라.

And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came [again] in peace.

25. 그가 예루살렘에서 나아와 왕을 맞을 때에 왕이 그에게 이르되, 므비보셋이여, 네가 어찌하여 나와 함께 가지 아니

      하였느냐? 하매

And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said unto him, Wherefore wentest not thou with me, Mephibosheth?

26. 그가 대답하되, 오 내 주 왕이여, 주의 종은 다리를 절므로 말하기를, 내가 나를 위해 나귀에 안장을 얹어 그 위에

      타고 왕에게 가리라, 하였는데 내 종이 나를 속이고

And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant [is] lame.

27. 주의 종을 내 주 왕께 모함하였나이다. 그러나 내 주 왕께서는 [하나님]의 천사 같으시온즉 왕의 눈에 좋은 대로

      하옵소서.

And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king [is] as an angel of God: do therefore [what is] good in thine eyes.

28. 내 아버지 집의 모든 사람은 내 주 왕 앞에서 단지 죽은 자나 다름없나이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 왕께서 왕의 종을

      왕의 상에서 음식 먹는 자들 가운데 두셨사온즉 내게 오히려 무슨 권리가 있어서 더 이상 왕께 부르짖을 수

      있사오리이까? 하매

For all [of] my fathers house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king? 

29. 왕이 그에게 이르되, 네가 어찌하여 네 일을 말하느냐? 내가 이르기를, 너와 시바는 땅을 나누라, 하였느니라, 하매

And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land.

30.므비보셋이 왕에게 이르되, 내 주 왕께서 평안히 자신의 집에 돌아오시게 되었사오니 참으로 그가 전부를 차지하게

     하옵소서, 하니라.

And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house.

31. 길르앗 사람 바르실래가 왕을 안내하여 요르단을 건너게 하려고 로글림에서 내려와 왕과 함께 요르단을 건넜는데

And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.

32. 이제 바르실래는 매우 늙은 사람으로 팔십 세더라. 그가 매우 창대한 사람이었으므로 왕이 마하나임에 거할 때에

      왕에게 양식을 제공하였더라.

Now Barzillai was a very aged man, [even] fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he [was] a very great man.

33. 왕이 바르실래에게 이르되, 너는 나와 함께 건너가자. 예루살렘에서 내가 너를 먹이리라, 하니

And the king said unto Barzillai, Come thou over with me, and I will feed thee with me in Jerusalem.

34. 바르실래가 왕께 이르되, 내가 얼마나 더 살겠기에 왕과 함께 예루살렘으로 올라가리이까?

And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem? 

35. 이 날 내가 팔십 세니 어떻게 좋은 것과 나쁜 것을 분간할 수 있사오리이까? 주의 종이 먹거나 마시는 것의 맛을

      알 수 있사오리이까? 어떻게 내가 다시 노래하는 남자나 여자의 목소리를 들을 수 있사오리이까? 어찌 주의 종이

      내 주 왕께 오히려 짐이 되리이까?

I [am] this day fourscore years old: [and] can I discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?

36. 주의 종은 왕을 모시고 요르단을 건너 조금 가려 하거늘 왕께서 어찌 이 같은 보상으로 내게 갚으려 하시나이까?

Thy servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king: and why should the king recompense it me with such a reward?

37. 청하건대 주의 종을 돌려보내시옵소서. 내가 내 도시에서 죽어 내 아버지와 어머니의 무덤 옆에 묻히려 하나이다.

      그러나 주의 종 김함을 보소서. 그가 내 주 왕과 함께 건너가게 하시옵고 왕께서 보시기에 좋은 대로 그에게

      행하소서, 하매

Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, [and be buried] by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto thee.

38. 왕이 응답하되, 김함이 나와 함께 건너가리니 내게 좋게 보이는 것을 내가 그에게 행하겠고 또 네가 내게 요구하는

      것은 무엇이든지 너를 위하여 행하리라, 하니라.

And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and whatsoever thou shalt require of me, [that] will I do for thee. 

39. 온 백성이 요르단을 건너매 왕도 건너가서 바르실래의 입을 맞추고 그를 축복하니 그가 자기 처소로 돌아가니라.

And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place.

40. 그때에 왕이 길갈로 건너오고 김함도 함께 건너오니 온 유다 백성과 또 이스라엘 백성의 절반이 왕을 안내하니라.

Then the king went on to Gilgal, and Chimham went on with him: and all the people of Judah conducted the king, and also half the people of Israel. 

41. 보라, 이스라엘의 모든 사람들이 왕께 나아와 이르되, 어찌 우리 형제 유다 사람들이 왕을 도둑질하고 왕과 왕의

      집안과 왕과 함께한 다윗의 모든 사람들을 데려다가 요르단을 건너게 하였나이까? 하매

And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king, and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away, and have brought the king, and his household, and all Davids men with him, over Jordan?

42. 유다의 모든 사람들이 이스라엘 사람들에게 대답하되, 왕이 우리의 가까운 친족이기 때문이라. 그런즉 너희가

      어찌 이 일로 인해 분을 내느냐? 우리가 왕의 경비에서 조금이라도 먹었느냐? 그분께서 우리에게 무슨 선물을

      주셨느냐? 하니

And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king [is] near of kin to us: wherefore then be ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the kings [cost]? or hath he given us any gift?

43.이스라엘 사람들이 유다 사람들에게 대답하여 이르되, 우리는 왕에 대해 열 몫을 가졌으므로 다윗에 대해 너희보다

     더 큰 권리를 가지고 있거늘 너희가 어찌하여 우리를 멸시하고 우리 왕을 모셔 오는 일에서 우리의 권고를 먼저

     받지 아니하였느냐? 하니라. 유다 사람들의 말이 이스라엘 사람들의 말보다 더 강경하였더라.

And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more [right] in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.
