- 영한 : 긍정적인 면을 보다, 긍정적으로 생각하다, 긍정적/낙관적으로 보다, 낙관하다.

- 영영 : be optimistic or cheerful in spite of difficulties

- 동일 : Look on the brighter side.

- 반대 : Look on the dark side. (비관하다, 비관적으로 보다.)

[기억할만한 표현]
▶ to have a feeling…: ~할 것 같(은 느낌이 들)다.
“I have the feeling the teacher is going to surprise us with a test tomorrow.”
(선생님이 내일 불시에 시험을 볼 것 같은 느낌이 들어.)

▶ in the first place: 우선, 첫째
"I should never have taken that job in the first place."
(먼저 내가 그 직장에 절대 취직을 하지 말았어야 했다.)

▶ stand in line: 줄을 서서 기다리다.
“We had to stand in line for twenty minutes at the supermarket.”
(우린 수퍼마켓에서 20분이나 줄에 서서 기다렸어.)
