사무엘하22장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

1. {주}께서 다윗을 그의 모든 원수들의 손과 사울의 손에서 건지신 날에 다윗이 이 노래의 말씀들로 {주}께

   아뢰니라.

And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

2. 그가 이르되, {주}는 나의 반석이시요, 나의 요새시요, 나의 구출자시요,

And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

3. 내가 신뢰하는 나의 반석이 되시는 [하나님]이시요, 나의 방패시요, 나의 구원의 뿔이시요,

   나의 높은 망대시요, 나의 피난처시요, 나의 구원자시로다. 주께서 나를 폭력에서 구원하시나이다.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

4. 찬양 받기에 합당하신 {주}를 내가 부르리니 이로써 내가 내 원수들에게서 구원을 받으리로다.

I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

5. 사망의 물결이 나를 에워싸고 경건치 아니한 자들의 홍수가 나를 무섭게 하였으며

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; 

6. 지옥의 고통이 나를 에워싸고 사망의 올가미들이 나보다 앞서 갔도다.

The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; 

7. 내가 고통 중에 {주}를 부르며 내 [하나님]께 부르짖으매 그분께서 자신의 성전에서 내 음성을 들으셨나니

   내 부르짖음이 그분의 귀에 들어갔도다.

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry [did enter] into his ears.

8. 그때에 땅이 흔들리고 떨었으며 하늘의 기초들도 요동하고 흔들렸으니 이는 그분께서 진노하셨기

    때문이로다.

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9. 그분의 콧구멍에서 연기가 나와 위로 올라가고 그분의 입에서 불이 나와 삼켰으니 그 불에 의해 숯이

   피었도다.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 

10. 그분께서 또한 하늘들을 휘시고 내려오시니 그분의 발밑에 어둠이 있었도다.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.

11. 그분께서 그룹을 타고 나시매 바람의 날개들 위에서 보이셨도다.

And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12. 그분께서 어두운 물들과 창공의 짙은 구름들로 자신의 주변에 어둠의 천막을 삼으셨으니

And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies. 

13. 그분 앞에 있는 광채로 인하여 숯불이 피었도다.

Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

14. {주}께서 하늘에서부터 천둥소리를 내시고 [지극히 높으신 이]께서 자신의 음성을 내시며

The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

15. 화살들을 내보내사 그들을 흩으시고 번개로 그들을 쳐부수셨도다.

And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

16. {주}의 꾸짖으심 곧 그분의 콧구멍의 숨의 거센 바람으로 말미암아 바다의 바닥들이 나타나고 세상의

     기초들이 드러났도다.

And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

17. 그분께서 위로부터 보내사 나를 붙잡아 주시고 많은 물에서 나를 끌어내셨으며

He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters; 

18. 나의 강한 원수와 나를 미워한 자들에게서 나를 건지셨나니 내가 감당하기에 그들이 너무 강하였도다.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, [and] from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

19. 그들이 내 재앙의 날에 나보다 앞서 갔으나 {주}께서 내 버팀 기둥이 되셨으며

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

20. 또 그분께서 나를 넓은 곳으로 데려가시고 나를 기뻐하시므로 나를 건지셨도다.

He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

21. {주}께서 내 의를 따라 내게 보상을 주시며 내 손의 깨끗함을 따라 내게 갚아 주셨으니

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

22. 이는 내가 {주}의 길들을 지키고 사악하게 내 [하나님]을 떠나지 아니하였기 때문이라.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23. 그분의 모든 판단이 내 앞에 있었나니 그분의 법규들로 말하건대 내가 그것들을 떠나지 아니하였도다.

For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.

24. 또한 나는 그분 앞에서 올바르며 내 자신을 지켜 내 불법에서 떠났나니

I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. 

25. 그러므로 {주}께서 내 의를 따라 내게 갚아 주시되 자신의 눈앞에서 내 깨끗함을 따라 내게 갚아 주셨도다.

Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. 

26. 긍휼을 베푸는 자에게는 주께서 친히 주의 긍휼을 보이시고 올바른 자에게는 주께서 주의 올바르심을

     보이시며

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.

27. 순수한 자에게는 주께서 주의 순수하심을 보이시고 거역하는 자에게는 주께서 주의 쓴맛을 보이시리니

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. 

28. 고난 받는 백성은 주께서 구원하시나 주의 눈은 오만한 자들 위에 있어 주께서 그들을 낮추시리이다.

And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.

29. 오 {주}여, 주는 내 등불이시오니 {주}께서 내 어둠을 밝히시리이다.

For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. 

30. 내가 주를 힘입어 군대 사이를 달려가며 내 [하나님]을 힘입어 담을 뛰어넘었나이다.

For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. 

31. [하나님]으로 말하건대 그분의 길은 완전하고 {주}의 말씀은 정제되었나니 그분은 자신을 신뢰하는 모든

     자에게 방패가 되시는도다.

[As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him. 

32. {주} 외에 누가 [하나님]이리요? 우리 [하나님] 외에 누가 반석이리요?

For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?

33. [하나님]은 내 능력과 권능이시며 내 길을 완전하게 하시고

God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect. 

34. 내 발을 암사슴의 발 같게 하시며 나를 나의 높은 곳들에 세우시고

He maketh my feet like hinds [feet]: and setteth me upon my high places. 

35. 내 손을 가르쳐 전쟁하게 하시나니 그러므로 내 팔이 강철로 된 활도 부수었도다.

He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 

36. 또 주께서 주의 구원의 방패를 내게 주시고 주의 부드러움이 나를 크게 만들었사오며

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. 

37. 주께서 내 밑의 발 디딜 곳을 넓히사 내 발이 미끄러지지 아니하게 하셨나이다.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. 

38. 내가 내 원수들을 쫓아가서 멸하였사오며 그들을 소멸시키기 전에는 돌아오지 아니하였나이다.

I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

39. 내가 그들을 소멸시켜 상처를 입혔더니 그들이 능히 일어나지 못하였으며 참으로 그들이 내 발밑에

    쓰러졌나이다.

And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.

40. 주께서 전쟁하게 하시려고 능력으로 내게 띠를 두르사 나를 치려고 일어난 자들을 내 밑에

     굴복시키셨나이다.

For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. 

41. 또 주께서 내 원수들의 목을 내게 주사 나를 미워하는 자들을 내가 멸하게 하셨나이다.

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

42. 그들이 둘러보았으나 구원할 자가 없었고 심지어 {주}를 보았으나 그분께서 그들에게 응답하지

     아니하셨도다.

They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

43. 그때에 내가 그들을 땅의 티끌같이 잘게 부수고 거리의 진흙같이 그들을 밟아서 넓게 퍼뜨렸도다.

Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, [and] did spread them abroad.

44. 또 주께서 나를 내 백성의 다툼에서 건지시고 또 나를 지키사 이교도들의 머리가 되게 하셨으니 내가 알지

     못하던 백성이 나를 섬기리이다.

Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.

45. 낯선 자들이 내게 복종할 것이요, 그들이 듣고는 곧 내게 순종하리로다.

Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me. 

46. 낯선 자들이 쇠약해지고 자기들의 밀폐된 처소에서 나와 무서워하리로다.

Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.

47. {주}는 살아 계시니 나의 반석을 찬송하며 나의 구원의 반석이신 [하나님]을 높일지어다.

The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

48. [하나님]은 곧 내 원수를 갚아 주시고 백성을 내 밑으로 들어오게 하시며

It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me, 

49. 나를 내 원수들에게서 나오게 하시는 이시로다. 또한 주께서 나를 치려고 일어나는 자들 위로 나를 높이

    드시고 난폭한 자에게서 나를 건지셨나이다.

And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

50. 그러하온즉, 오 {주}여, 내가 이교도들 가운데서 주께 감사를 드리며 노래로 주의 이름을 찬양하리이다.

Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

51. 그분께서는 자신의 왕에게 구원의 망대이시며 자신의 기름 부음 받은 자 곧 다윗과 그의 씨에게 영원토록

     긍휼을 베푸시는도다, 하니라.

[He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
