*take something up with somebody

- 영한 : ~와 상의하다, (문제를 해결하거나 도움을 줄 수 있을) ~에게 ~에 대해 이야기를 하다/편지를 쓰다.

- 영영 : to discuss a problem or issue with someone. It can also mean to formally deal with something. 

- 유사/주의 : take up with someone / (특히 평판이 좋지 않은) ~와 어울리기 시작하다/친해지다.

Lloyd: Excuse me Mr. Lee. Do you have a minute?
로이드: 미스터 리 실례합니다 . 잠시 시간 있으세요?

Mr. Lee: Yes Lloyd what is it?
미스터 리: 그래 로이드. 무슨 일이야?
