The Way to Eternal Life

God gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. This means living eternally under God's reign in His kingdom. Eternal life and salvation have the same meaning. 

Without God's intervention, humanity has no way to be saved. No matter how much effort one puts in, salvation cannot be achieved by human strength alone. That is why God sent His Son into the world. 

Evil people are characterized by their lack of repentance. There are some who are fervent in church work and prayer but lack repentance and tears of contrition. The reason for this lack of repentance is that they do not want their deeds to be exposed. 

However, those who repent believe that Jesus died for them and trust Him to the very end. Jesus, who is the Word of Truth made flesh, is the one they follow. Following Jesus means following the truth, as it says, "The one who practices the truth comes to the Light." 

One's attitude toward the Word of Truth demonstrates their faith. Therefore, those who accept the Word are people of the Light, people of Truth, and people of God.
