제1강 기본문장 만들기 (Writing a Basic Sentence)

[학습개요]

문장은 영작을 시작하는 기본 단위라 할 수 있다. 작문을 하다보면 아주 기본적인 실수를 저지르는 경우가 있는데 이는 대개 문장의 작문에 필요한 기초 지식을 소홀히 한 때문이다. 이번 강의에서는 온전한 문장의 구성, 올바른 어순 유지, 일치 등을 다룬다.

[학습목표]

1. 주어나 동사 등 문장에 필수적인 요소가 결핍되지 않았는지 확인한다.

2. 하나의 절에는 하나의 본동사가 들어가게 작문하도록 한다.

3. 평서문에 필요한 어순을 지키는 작문을 하도록 한다.

4. 의문문에 필요한 도치 등의 어순을 지키는 작문을 하도록 한다.

5. 문장에서 필요한 주어와 동사간의 일치를 지키도록 한다.

6. 문장에서 필요한 그 밖의 일치관계를 지키도록 한다.

cf. be aware of ~ / be aware that S + V 로만 쓰인다.

Usage

be/become aware of/that

He was aware that she had been cute when young. be/become aware that S+V

You're aware of the problems of raising children. be/become aware of + NP

ex) Bill became aware that he was still holding her hand.
