내 집 마련하기에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.

나는 결혼한지 올해로 5년차이다. 

하지만 아직 우리 집이라고 할 만한 집이 없다. 

그래서 이사를 벌써 몇 번이나 했다.

- I have been married for 5 years now. 

  But we still don't have a house to call our own. 

  We have already moved a few times.

+ have been married for : 결혼한지 ~년 째이다

+ to call one's own : 본인 소유의

+ have moved : 이사했다(경험을 나타내야 

                      하기 때문에 완료시제로 사용)​

우리의 신혼시절 첫 집은 울산 지역이었다. 

집주인과 만나서 전세 계약서를 작성했다. 

동사무소에 가서 전입 신고를 하고 그곳에서 

2년간 거주하였다.

- Our first home in the newlywed days was in Ulsan. 

  Meeting the landlord, we signed a lease for 

  a lump sum deposit rental. 

  We visited the local government office to report 

  our moving in, and lived there for two years.

+ newlywed : 신혼자, 신혼의

cf) newlyweds : 신혼부부

+ landlord : 집주인

+ sign a lease : 계약서를 작성하다

+ the local government office : 동사무소

+ lump sum deposit rental : 전세

cf) lump sum : 일시불로 지불하는 금액

cf) deposit : 보증금, 착수금/(특정한 곳에)두다

+ report : 보고하다,신고하다​

대전으로 이사를 오면서는 좋은 임대인을 만났다. 

2년이 지나서 계약 기간이 만료했고, 다시 2년간 

계약 연장을 하였다. 

- We lucked out with a great landlord in Daejeon. 

  Our lease ran out after two years, so we extended 

  the lease by two more years.

+ luck out with : ~로 운이 좋다(luck이 동사로 사용됨)

+ run out : 만료되다, 만기되다(=expire)

+ extend : 연장하다, 더 길게 만들다​

임대차 3법 덕분에 집주인이 임대료를 많이 올리지 

않고 재계약을 할 수 있었다.

-Thanks to three major lease laws, we were able to 

 renew the contract without the landlord raising 

 the rent too much.

+ renew : 갱신하다, 재개하다

+ contract : 계약

+ without+동명사의 의미상의 주어(the landlord)+ 

  동명사(raising) :주인이 집세를 올리는 것 없이,

                      올리지 않고.​

최근에는 아파트 청약 신청을 했는데,안타깝게도 

탈락했다. 

우리는 내 집 마련을 목표로 여전히 청약 당첨에 대한 

꿈을 키워 가고 있다.

- Recently, we applied for an apartment subscription 

  draw. Unfortunately, we weren't picked. 

  We still dream of being selected in the draw, 

  with the aim of becoming a home owner.

+ apply for : 신청하다

+ an apartment subscription draw : 아파트 청약 신청

cf) draw : (제비)뽑기

+ be not picked:선택되지 않다.뽑히지 않다

                      (수동태로 사용)

+ be selected : 뽑히다, 선택되다

+ dream of : ~을 꿈꾸다

+ with the aim of : ~을 목표로, ~을 지향하여

+ become a home owner : 집주인이 되다

                                  =내집 마련을 하다

Talk about Becoming a Homeowner.

My busbund and I have been married 

for 5 years now.

남편과 나는 결혼한 지 올해로 5년차이다.

But we still don't have a house to call our own.

하지만 아직 우리 소유의 집이 없다.

We have already moved three times.

그래서 이사를 벌써 세 번이나 했다.

Our first home as newlyweds was in Ulsan.

우리의 첫 신혼집은 울산 지역이었다.

We met with the landlord 

and signed a lease for a lump sum deposit retal.

집주인과 만나서 전세 계약서를 작성했다.

We visited the local government office to report 

our moving in, and lived there for two years.

동사무소에 가서 전입 신고를 하고 그곳에서 2년간 

거주하였다.​

In February of 2019, we moved to Daejeon.

2019년 2월에 대전으로 이사를 오게 되었다.

We lucked out with a great landlord 

when we moved to Deajeon.

대전으로 이사를 오면서 좋은 임대인을 만났다.

Our lease expired after two years, 

so we extended the lease by two more years.

2년이 지나서 계약 기간이 만료됐고, 

다시 2년간 계약 연장을 하였다.

대한 꿈을 키워 가고 있다.
