The Time When We Can Live Forever Like the People
in the Beginning
In the beginning, the one and only God created the heavens and the earth. He also created people, male and female. After that, there came to be two kinds of trees in the middle of the Garden of Eden, which were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eating from one tree allowed one to live forever and eating from the other caused one to die.
In the words written in Is 14:12-15, the morning star, son of the dawn, set his throne above the stars and opposed the Most High. Also, the guardian cherub of Ez 28 was in the middle of Eden, was adorned with precious stones of every color, walked among the fiery stones, was full of wisdom, and was the model of perfection (a perfect seal). Because this being called himself ‘God,’ he is a betrayer, a traitor, and he became Satan. Thus, Satan, who is the devil and the dragon, is the god (spirit) of betrayal. This betrayer is the tree of the fruit of good and evil. Therefore, God said, “You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it, you will surely die.”
If Adam had not eaten the fruit of good and evil, he would have lived forever. Through this act of Adam’s betrayal, death came to man, and God ended up leaving the earth. Cain, who killed Abel, was also thrown out of Eden like Adam and Eve. This was the beginning of the work of Satan.
Thus, Paul said that death entered as a result of one man (Adam), and life entered as a result of another man (Christ) (1Cor 15:21-22, Rom 5:17-18). The current state of the earth is that everyone is under death. Through the blood of Jesus, death must be changed to eternal life. However, even though it has been 2,000 years, there has been no change. The reason is explained by the new covenant recorded in Lk 22:14-20. Because [Jesus] said that his righteous blood would not be eaten until the time when it found fulfillment in the Father’s kingdom, that time must come in order to eat it and have eternal life.
Do [you] know what the Father’s kingdom is, what is fulfilled, and what is eaten? What is eaten is the blood and flesh of Jesus (Jn 6:51-57). What is fulfilled are the 144,000, the 12 tribes, who were made with the blood (Rv 5:9-10). They are the new kingdom and the new people.
