Testimony is words, but evidence is a fact.
"But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me."
The works that Jesus does are the evidence revealed by God the Father. When expressed, they become testimony. Jesus did not rely on human testimony or evidence.
Likewise, we do not need to act for the sake of being seen by others; rather, we should let God work. Only through faith can we recognize this as reality and evidence. Without faith, it remains vague and uncertain.
What God testifies is His very will. To accept it, even faith as small as a mustard seed is enough. When we receive His word with faith, it becomes the saving word that brings us life.
