Our Chinese New Year celebration began with a meaningful touch, as students across all grade levels created a Hundred Blessings Angpao collage using recycled red packets from home.

The day came alive with a vibrant lion dance, an energetic 24 Festive Drums performance, and confident performances by our PYP and MYP students.

Around campus, activity stations invited hands-on cultural experiences, from peanut cookie-making led by our MYP4 students to calligraphy, paper-cutting, and art rubbing.

With the support of our parents, who shared traditional treats such as tangyuan, dumplings, Eight Treasures glutinous rice, and tanghulu, the celebration was filled with warmth and community spirit.

At Fairview, moments like these nurture cultural understanding and a sense of belonging, preparing students for life in a diverse world.

우리의 중국 설날 축하 행사는 의미 있는 감동으로 시작되었습니다. 모든 학년의 학생들이 집에서 재활용한 빨간 패킷을 사용하여 백복 앙파오 콜라주를 만들었습니다.
활기찬 사자춤, 활기찬 24개의 축제 드럼 공연, 그리고 PYP와 MYP 학생들의 자신감 넘치는 공연으로 하루가 활기차게 시작되었습니다.
캠퍼스 주변에서 활동 스테이션은 MYP4 학생들이 주도하는 땅콩 쿠키 만들기부터 서예, 종이 자르기, 미술 문지르기까지 다양한 체험 문화 체험을 초대했습니다.
탕위안, 만두, 팔보 찹쌀, 탕후루 등 전통 간식을 나눠주신 부모님의 지원으로 축제는 따뜻함과 공동체 정신으로 가득 찼습니다.
페어뷰에서는 이러한 순간들이 문화적 이해와 소속감을 키워주며, 학생들이 다양한 세상에서 살아갈 수 있도록 준비시킵니다.
